You might be able to just grab the NCU application and its extensions and manually place them where they need to go - Mac apps are pretty much self contained (eg they don't have a registry to spread themselves through). Often a Mac installer just copies stuff to places anyway - as opposed to installing from a compressed archive (I can't recall exactly which option NCU uses). Possibly someone on the list can mail you the appropriate bits with directions on where they need to be placed . . .). Also you didn't mention if the two machines could 'see' each other at all ? ie - if you start a webserver on the Mac can you get to it via the Newt ? aforementioned search result subset) in a list, or all fields, one item
at a time.
Based on that, any thoughts about which one(s) I should be using?
My impressions from trying to set up my list/database in the three I've
tested are:
* Notion: Couldn't figure out how to make my own list type, but based on
what I saw of the built in list types, it displays all fields in the
list all at once. Also doesn't fill up the screen on my 2100 - it
