Where is that? I've checked the Unnalisting file from 14 days ago, but I
can't find it anywhere.

Re: Connecting to Moc

Hi !ooW,

Good to talk to you again. And thanks for keeping me on your "chuckles"
list. You are not right, man!

Anyway, I tried what you said but Classic says I have a "Sharing Control
Panel" missing (I sware I didn't take it). Captain Paul sent me his latest
Escale but I'm still getting no joy. I'm now wondering if the damn Belkin
serial adapter is not compatible with OS 10.2.6. I may try hooking it up to
my PC (Oh Gawd!!!)

Anyway, hang in there and have a good one (and be careful if you do)

Cheers :-)

Re: Connecting to Moc

I thinking I may have to get one myself. CUSA doesn't carry them anymore
(surprise!) so I'll probably just order one online. I'll let you know if
that fixes the problem

Re: Connecting to Moc

I have Escale working under OSX 10.2.6 on my beige G3, using the
built in modem port. One thing that might be causing this to happen
is that before I found Escale, I went out to keyspan and installed
the drivers for their 4 port pci card, hoping that it would get OSX
to recognize the built in serial ports and let NCU/NBU work. No go
there, but shortly thereafter, I installed Escale and it's been
working fine. Maybe this can help you?

Hey! I *finally* saw the eclipse on my Newt!

I'm just glad I happened to be watching this time. I'd never seen it before
(I've got a 130), even when it was supposed to show up. And it even showed
as an annular eclipse. Sweet! But it does go by awfully quickly...

You don't need any additional drivers to recognize the serial port IME.
Although if you unselected the BSD package when you installed OSX,
then you will need to install it now.

It is installed by default.
