This problem prevents Xapian 0.7.4 passing "make check" (I failed to
spot this as I had libbtreecheck.la in the old location in my tree,
as did all the tinderbox machines).

I don't think it justifies rushing a 0.7.5 release out immediately.

If you want to run the testsuite, apply this patch to fix the problem:
