Your style is doing the sort by year then author: if you had two citations of the same year, it would then put the earlier one first. What you want is to cite by year but group authors together, and there's no way of doing this automatically. Set your style to stop reordering citations, and do it manually. Thankfully, you can do them all in one fell swoop from the edit citations box in word.
