FLDIGI: glibc/double free or corruption, SIGABRT (SOLVED)

All,

Thank you for your help! I have found the solution. While debugging
the fldigi program, I noticed the SIGABRT was occurring while parsing
the icons in /usr/share/icons/hicolor, specifically with libreoffice.

Unmerging libreoffice regenerated the icon cache and the application
is now working. First command was to determine if there were any
applications dependent on libreoffice, second command was to unmerge.

# emerge -pv --depclean app-office/libreoffice-l10n app-office/libreoffice

Calculating dependencies... done!
>>> Calculating removal order...

>>> These are the packages that would be unmerged:

 app-office/libreoffice
    selected: 3.4.3.2-r1
   protected: none
     omitted: none

 app-office/libreoffice-l10n
    selected: 3.4.3-r3
   protected: none
     omitted: none

All selected packages: app-office/libreoffice-3.4.3.2-r1
app-office/libreoffice-l10n-3.4.3-r3

Re: Rigcat issues on OSX LION - FT450

I had to remove the old 32 bit drivers and then install the 64 bit drivers when I upgraded to lion.

sound card calibration

I have been trying to figure out what is actually going on under the hood? looking at the scope output I think I
see frequency drift? if this is true then won't the data be distorted? If the data is put into an array and re
sampled won't the result be just a copy of the same frequency shift?

It likely I'm totally off track can someone help me understand what is actually going on?

IC-7200 and flrig

I'm considering moving from an IC-7000 to an IC-7200. I really enjoy using flrig with the 7000. When I
compare the screen shots between the 7000 and 7200 their are several features that appear for the 7000 that
aren't available (yet?) for the 7200. Are the screen shots at
<http://www.w1hkj.com/flrig-help/flrig_rigs.html>
current? Are there plans to add comparable features to the 7200?

73, and many thanks,

RTTY on 3.21.19

After re-establishing my station at a new location I find I cannot decode RTTY on FLDigi . I have not changed
anything in the macro section.
Can someone advise as to what the various settings should be?

I would upgrade to the latest version first.

Macro's have nothing to do with decoding a signal.

Is the rig and fldigi both on USB. This is just a guess as you did not
provide what rig you are using.

Can you decode PSK ??

Squelch set too high ??

Did you select RTTY 45 ??

Do you by chance have the REV box checked ??

Are you sure it is a RTTY signal ?
