Re: Decision: Spaces in bracketed URLs

It seems like the decision is unanimous for option 2. I am looking forward in this getting implemented.
Michael will this be implemented on the next release? Thanks.

You found another bug (I hope I have caught them all now).

But this problem is related to bracketed URLs which do not point to

Wired behavior at favorite wiki quick buttons

Hello,

I've setup at least 3 favorite wikis, each with a button on the toolbar.
If I start wikidpad and click on one of the buttons, not always the
selected but any other wiki gets open. After some more clicks the
correct wiki opens.

Versions: 2.2ß1 <at> XP SP3, 2.2ß1_1 <at> Win7 SP1

Tobias

PS: Thanks for the very fast patch.

I have changed that in my working copy now (and it will become part of
next 2.2 version) after some pondering if anybody would create a wiki
language where one could place a heading somewhere between normal text
on the same line, something like:

bla bla bla {++ New Heading} more blab bla bla

Re: Wired behavior at favorite wiki quick buttons

Hi,

I had the same problem with 2.1, and I stopped using favorite buttons in the toolbar. Now I use only the
Favorites menu - which works OK.

I couldn't reproduce it but I have a "theory". If I'm right, then once
hiding and showing the toolbar should correct it for a particular window
(until the window is closed or another wiki is opened in this window).

If this is the case I can fix it in the next version(s).

Hello Michael,

I saved the favorite file again and tried some times and now I can't
reproduce the effect. Try it tomorrow on an other computer. But your
'theory' could be correct, because saving the favorites updates the toolbar.

RE: Re: Decision: Spaces in bracketed URLs

1. Why " |" and not "|"?
2. In the cases of " |" and " ]", can the space be replace with any
combination of spaces and tabs?
3. Shouldn't end-of-line, optionally preceded by whitespace, terminate the
URL?
4. How also adding that a period or comma (or other punctuation?) followed
by whitespace also terminate the URL. That's the way may email program
works, and I quite like it: http://www.example.com/foo. vs.
http://www.example.com/foo.x
