Re: Automatic continuous export

+1 for this feature.

I have a cron job doing a git add/commit of wikidpad dir very often. It also rsync the html directory to a
remote webserver so I can browser my notes when away from my computer. I don't use multiple export profiles
so a default one is fine.

Thanks

Re: ANN: WikidPad 2.1beta08

BTW, there is a typo in the news section of Wikidpad's homepage.
It says "Sep 25, 2010" for 2.1beta08 and 2.0rc08.

ANN: Archlinux AUR packages for both Wikidpad versions

For your information, this week I took over the maintenance of Archlinux AUR packages for both WikidPad
2.0rc08 & 2.1beta08.

Both versions can be installed at the same time, the 2.1 version is renamed wikidpad-dev when installed.
There are both fully compliant with the recent Python3 rollout in Archlinux (but still use Python2).

So if you are an Archlinux user, installing Wikidpad is just as easy as "yaourt wikidpad".

Do not hesitate to report bugs and issues with the AUR packages.

Thanks
Alphazo

Re: Collect todos in one page

Hi,

do you know this one?
http://www.ziemski.net/wikidpad/todo_extension.html

I use this for my todo management. Works pretty well and is under active development.

Re: Collect todos in one page

Hi,
thanks for the feedback. I also think that is works very well.

This is actually the extension that I would like to extend.

I have wikipages for each day eg. 2010-11-10
What is missing for me is to have a todo generate a "deadline"
on the page of the date of the deadline. I would also like to have links between the todo and the deadline.

cheers,
bjorn

Re: Rebuild wiki on linux gives segfault with 2.1 beta 8

sort of a workaround:

I have the 2.1 beta 8 windows version installed under wine. I opened the wiki in the win version and rebuilt
it. Then I closed the win version and opened the wiki under linux. After some waiting, the wiki came out fine
under linux. I have no idea how or why...

remember to save your data if you try this!

Using wp to create a small website

Hi,

I wonder if anyone have made a website using wikidpad with some nice formatting of the pages? I have never
done this, but I need to make a small site (5-10 pages) for a project and I would like to use wp since it is a tool
I know (and like).

If you would like to share tips or a link to a site made with wp or perhaps a css file I would be grateful.

cheers,
bjorn

Re: Using wp to create a small website

I dont know much about it, but i can tell you that you can create divs (<div></div>) like in normal html file
with IDs, and then put a css file into "export" folder (for example c:\Program Files\WikidPad\export).
Name it "wikistyle.css".

If you search for css layout (desing of website) there is good one on top of google searches
http://www.456bereastreet.com/lab/developing_with_web_standards/csslayout/2-col/
(just, at the end, change colors because provided ones are for learning purposes)

Idea: Copy file to files folder

Hi

The idea is to make right click menu option that will appear on file:/// links that will allow to copy the file
to files folder of wikidpad.

It might be usefull for example when coping a wikidpad to other folder like back up.

BTW. Would it be hard to make all links, wiki wide to be copied and stored in files folder (same usage, i would
want to copy whole wiki to other computer with all files that i linked to)?
