### ANN: Blogging extensions 1.0.4

I've uploaded a new version of my Blogging extension. This is a patch
to make sure that the tree view is updated properly when the new blog
entries are created.

http://www.geocities.com/mjallison42/Blog.html

A quick summary for those not familiar with this extension.
I created this extension to quickly allow me to create a daily log
entry. I use this for home and work, and will fill in a short
description of what interests me on a daily (or as often as I can
remember) basis.

This serves my basic needs, and I am looking at expanding it based on
suggestions of folks on the WikidPad list.

Use and enjoy!

As a first time users I'm getting the 2x menu option, but selection of
either does not allow me to create a blog entry. Is there more setup I
need? I have no default BlogTemplate to copy - but I understood that

Thanks for the Zotero pointer!!!. Excellent tool for managing
bookmarks in the browser. Never really got enough discipline to do it

Glad you like it. Note that it is very very basic. It would be nice to
be able to apply some formatting to the output, but I'm not sure how
yet, maybe with pre and post tags and a header in the appendices.

"outputpretag=<<pre"; "outputposttag=>>"]

which would show:
<<pre
some command
>>
<<pre
output from some command ...
>>

I'm also thinking about a csv or otherwise delimited file to table
tag. Anyone interested in that?

BTW, I just fixed a bug in the imagefind tag code.

Hi,

I noticed wikidpad 1.9 beta 15 listed on some findmysoft.com website
(http://wikidpad.findmysoft.com/). The strange thing is that the

I don't really like that site. Every link like contact, update

The two above should be fixed with 1.9beta20.

This is a problem with the Scintilla editor component used by WikidPad
and can't be solved easily if at all.

The Mozilla ActiveX component is supported (must be installed
separately), but even more unstable than IE with the currently used
wxPython version.

Currently I plan to switch to new Python and wxPython versions for
WikidPad 2.0 (which may need some time yet) but maybe I should it do
earlier?

Using non-ActiveX components like Google Chrome or Mozilla with XPCOM
(the open source answer for Microsoft's ActiveX/COM) is currently not an
option for me.

It was a try by Helge to better communication:

I have added it to my todo list.
