[pyweb-il:88] PyWeb-IL starts at 18:00, possibly at TAU

HI all,
Seems like the agenda is pretty slim right now so I've pushed the
meeting to 18:00 making it easier for those of us with a day job.
I've also got a space for us in Tel Aviv University which I prefer to
Google. We've used both Google and TAU in the past and for me TAU was
more fun. Google has some great people nut their space is small and
last time we had to turn people off because we were full. There's also
no room to do pair programming, which is on the agenda, although we
can always change the agenda.
TAU comes with two limitations: no elevators after 20:00 and no
Polinax. They asked me not to discuss Polinax, my open source
political project, as they are afraid of politics. I'm OK with that as
there a plenty of other things I can present.
So, please find something you can present (I'd be happy if someone can
present jQuery) add it to the agenda and vote for your preferred
location by replying to this thread.
I'm +1 for TAU .

I prefer the Google office for the presentations, I think it's easier
to stay
focused. Is attendance going to be as large as last time?

+1 to Polinax...

Can't you convince TAU that it's a-politic? I wanted to invite potential users to the meeting.

I can also talk, if anyone is interested, on my experience deploying Django apps to Amazon EC2.

[pyweb-il:90] Re: PyWeb-IL starts at 18:00, possibly at TAU

I, too liked the informal atmosphere of TAU but...

We don't need to arrange google as all chairs like it was last time.
There are plenty of tables there and we can leave the setup so that
people can get together around a table and pair-program.

If the expected crowd is supposed to be larger than goog can handle
then of course we should go to TAU so everybody can participate.

Just my $0.02,

Oh, right -- forgot about this in my last email.

+1 polinax -- it is a party-agnostic toolkit, there's no reason for
TAU to be against helping all citizens to be more involved in their
government.

+1 Django/EC2.
