Translations state

Hi

I just ran check_lang.sh and I got plenty errors. Please try to keep
translations in correct state when updating them... I will try to fix current
erros, but be careful for next time.

Yes I found later, that about half of these errors were just no spaces around
equal sign ;-), but anyway there were some translations where were about 5
strings really missing....

2.3.4 release suggestion

Hi,

I suggest to release 2.3.4-rc1 in one week (Jan 12 on evening).

Marc,

I won't have my work finished until then. Since my todo list about the
new server_* pages is rather long and I don't like the idea of releasing
unfinished and buggy code, I'd suggest to proceed like we did with 2.2.7
/ 2.3.0.
This means, we would create a v2.3.4 branch in the CVS tree and remove
the server_* files and undo the changes to main.php3 in this branch. We
would release 2.3.4-rc1 on Sunday as you suggested.
In the MAIN branch, I suggest to increment the minor version number,
because the server_* pages contain some major changes that should imho
be indicated by a new minor version (2.4.0).
Regards,

Alexander

Greetings.

I have now returned from my mostly unannounced vacation. I went to South
Africa, December 15th -> January 5th for some family weddings, and spent
most of the time away from computers :-).

I'm carrying on work on phpMyAdmin now since my job isn't too busy at
the moment. Amongst the things to do include fixing the SQL validator
class, since it seems to be not working when I tried to use it the other
day.

After that, I'll try whittle down some of my longstanding todo items.
If anybody else needs a hand on some things, give me a shout and I'll
put some work in for you there.

Once we make the new release that Rabus has been working on with the
server_* pages, I want to see about completeing the server-side settings
storage, firstly just the general settings, and then later on the
per-user settings. I've implemented something else for my classes that
I'll be borrowing code from as I designed it for re-use in mind
(http://trafsim.orbis-terrarum.net/).

I'll be working on the following bugs for the moment:
596692
641765
644709

If you can work on the UNION bug (649665), please feel free to do so.
