Any updates on this? I'd really like to push a stable release of HTTP_Request2,
since RC1 had only one bug reported in 5 months and 28k downloads.

Re: Making Net_URL2 Stable

Let me see what can be done tomorrow. Most bugs are fixed and I'll
verify if the tests all pass.

Thanks,

Although in principle a good idea, another reason not to use Net_DNS at this
stage is that it does not (yet) prioritise SRV request weights correctly
according to RFC-2782.

I am also keen to see if we can get this package moving again :-)

ZF2 "promoting" PEAR2

Hi

Couldn't help noticing the fact that ZF2 is now installable with Pyrus, see
here: http://packages.zendframework.com/#pyrus

However, the nice Zend guys made really sure that PEAR[2] is not mentioned anywhere:
  * No description of what Pyrus is
  * No links to pear[2].php.net
  * They even have pyrus.phar on their server to prevent linking to pear:

Good work!

Two weeks worth of tomorrows passed and I didn't notice any movement.

Any new time estimates?

Hi,

I think it is great that ZF2 is installable with Pyrus. I agree that the
above points would make this even better. Perhaps it would be good to
contact the ZF folks about this--send them a description of Pyrus and a link
to pear2.php.net and ask to include it on their site.

Best regards,

Re: Making Net_URL2 Stable

Yes very sorry about this, I've been traveling a lot and been very busy.

I've just pushed a release of Net-URL2 stable now so if you could all
try it that'd be neat :)

Thanks!
