Collaboration Platform for Developing OXID Extensions has been opened

Hello everybody,

we are happy to announce the immediate availability of our web-based project management and
collaboration platform for developers of Open Source extensions for OXID eShop on http://dev.oxidforge.org

See the related blog post about it:
http://www.oxid-esales.com/en/news/blog/collaboration-platform-online

We are still looking for a proper name for it. Any ideas or suggestions welcome!

Happy collaborating, hope you like it! :-)

Re: Collaboration Platform for Developing OXID Extensions has been opened

Hi,

sounds a bit like "OxidCulpa" to me... if that pun is not intended I
would rather opt for something else.

Regards,

    Joris!

Re: reactions to dev.oxidforge.org

Hi,

Sorry, I mixed up mailing lists. This was supposed to go to our internal
one.
But the information is interesting enough, isn't it? :-)

Marco

Hi,

Just a note on a new feature. We implemented possibility to override
admin AJAX popup handlers. This feature will be available in eShop

Re: Collaboration Platform for Developing OXID Extensions has been opened

Hi everybody,

thanks for your proposals of pretty useful names for the new tool! I
could gather quite a lot and need a decision now. For this purpose, I
installed a poll in the forums:
http://www.oxid-esales.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3401

This poll will last for 7 days, multiple choices are possible. Your
voice is welcome!

Thanks
Marco

Company name is not mandatory any more for getting VAT=0

Hi,

Up until now there was a rule in eShop that if you want VAT to be skipped in the basket (buying as a Company), you
need to insert valid VAT ID and the Company Name. Only if both are filled, the VAT is = 0 in basket.
But after one report from customer we noticed that in some cases customer may not have Company Name, but only
VAT ID, and VAT for him also should be 0. So as written in the bug
https://bugs.oxid-esales.com/view.php?id=1549 - we will drop dependance of Company Name for VAT
calculation, and it will depend only from inserted VAT ID:
- if this is valid - VAT will be 0;
- if not valid - warning message will be shown and VAT will be included in estimate.

Best regards,
Dainius Bigelis
