I have just posted on http://home.swipnet.se/redz/roman/pubs.htm a paper on my efforts to understand what is actually defined by a given Parsing Expression Grammar.
It continues the quest started in my previous paper appearing on the same site. (That paper contains also results on backtracking in a PEG parser for C, which I signaled in January under a different thread).
