Bison 2.4.1 released

Bison version 2.4.1 is now available.  This version fixes a few
problems with version 2.4 and includes updated translations.  See
"NEWS" below for further details.

Here are the compressed sources:

[*] You can use either of the above signature files to verify that
the corresponding file (without the .sig suffix) is intact.  First,
be sure to download both the .sig file and the corresponding tarball.
Then, run a command like this:

  gpg --verify bison-2.4.1.tar.gz.sig

If that command fails because you don't have the required public key,
then run this command to import it:

  gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-keys F125BDF3

Please do not send any more Bison bug reports to them.

bug-bison <at> gnu.org is usually sufficient, but I'll keep the other Bison 
mailing lists now that you've opened the issue there.

It looks like gstreamer's configure script can't handle version numbers 
with three components.  Please report this problem to the gstreamer 
maintainers.  Thanks.

Error in execution/installation.


Platform win32 (Win-XP)
Version 2.1
If I install and run bison from c:\bin
I get the following error message:
bison: cannot open file `c:/share/bison/m4sugar/m4sugar.m4': No such file or directory

If installed in the default location c:\Program Files\GnuWin32 things work.

I also found I had to post process the result and remove all 'inline' keywords
as the Microsoft 6.0 compiler does not like the syntax.

bison 2.4.1

I am trying to compile bison v2.4.1 with gcc 4.3.2 and it just hangs at
checking for java compiler until I hit ctrl-c is there a patch to either
get this to work or have it not check for java?

checking whether g++ builds executables that work... yes
checking for Java virtual machine... gij
checking for Java compiler...
