vdrift unvollständig ... noarch/vdrift-data-tracks-20090615-0.pm.2.1.noarch.rpm ??

Hallo!

In den Packman-Paketen fehlen die "tracks"-Daten für VDRIFT .

Ich habe folgende Pakete von ftp://packman.iu-bremen.de/suse/11.2/ verwendet

x86_64/vdrift-20090615-0.pm.1.6.x86_64.rpm

noarch/vdrift-data-20090615-0.pm.2.1.noarch.rpm
noarch/vdrift-data-cars-20090615-0.pm.2.1.noarch.rpm
noarch/vdrift-data-drivers-20090615-0.pm.2.1.noarch.rpm
noarch/vdrift-data-sounds-20090615-0.pm.2.1.noarch.rpm

Es fehlt das Verzeichnis "tracks" mit
Ziel: /usr/share/games/vdrift/data/tracks

Fixed the link. And building 0.9.4.4 (including for 11.2) as we speak.

[PM] XBMC 9.11-1.pm.1.6 (openSUSE 11.2/i586)

Hi,

I thought there _must_ be something wrong with your packages.

Multiple people on forums (both openSUSE and XBMC) report, that packaged by
you XBMC crashes and vanilla one doesn't.

Just take a look at fresh one here:
http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?p=501161

I was getting the same log and debug backtrace since I have upgraded to
openSUSE 11.2.

[Here I wanted to scream, until I resolved the bug, while was writing this e-
mail.]

Multiple times I shared this link and will do this again and again, until
somebody gets interested: http://xbmc.org/trac/ticket/8187

Isn't it a shame, that openSUSE is in XBMC's FAQ one of the proud distros,
which provides packages, but article author notes, that RPMs didn't work for
him?

http://xbmc.org/wiki/?title=HOW_TO_install_XBMC_on_openSUSE_Linux

I have even provided the patches and %configure flags to XBMC, so they could
check for bugs, but they ignored them, as they don't have to support each
custom patched build.

question

Hello,
My question is this: How long does it take to update a program in your
repositories?

I have installed SWORD from your repo and the official release was
updated last month. And now I'm waiting when it will be available on
your server.
I'm sorry for the question, but I'm new in Linux and learning things, so
please, no offense.

Best regards,
Boguslaw Kluz

rm /dev/internet funktioniert leider nicht.

LOL, Nobody forces you to use this package. And you use all of our packages at
your own risk :)

We do our best and if it doesn't work for you, why not writing DIRECTLY to
us ? Instead of doing so, you post in several communities and tracs. Do you
really think we must read and search for such comments ?

If you have a problem with one of our packages, the first thing should be to
write a email to package-maintainer or packman mailing-list.

Just my 2cent.

please check this:

http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66406

looks that IS AN UPSTREAM BUG THEY ALREADY KNOW!

the only patch that may do something wrong is the
"no-return-in-non-void-function" that probably showed better this bug.
