[PM] transcode 1.0.6-0.pm.1 (openSUSE 11.0/i586)

Hi,

For creating thumbnails from video-files I use transcode with
a imagemagick parameter for png creation. This worked for me without problems
until I updated from openSuse 10.3 to 11.0 and changed transcode from version
1.0.4 to 1.0.6.

In the rpm change-log history I can see that for the 11.0 version the
imagemagick support has been removed because it doesn't work.

Is there a chance imagemagick support will be re-introduced in transcode in
the near future for opensuse 11.0?

Kindly regards,
Johannes Kalma

[PM] xine-lib 1.1.15-44.pm.1 (openSUSE 11.1/x86_64)

This doesn't seem installable on 11.1 B4 as it cannot find a provider
for libcdio.so.7 even though it is installed on the system.

httpd problem sovled

I am not sure it this is the right place to send this but if it isn't please
pass it on to whomever can fix the problem

this is where i found the fix

http://tips.desipro.de/

Opensuse 11.0 - / usr / bin / system-config-httpd.sh: line 4: sux: command
not found

    File "/usr/share/system-config-httpd/ApacheBase.py", line 9, in <module>
File / usr / share / system-config-httpd / ApacheBase.py ", line 9, in
<module>
    import libxml2 import libxml2

I would like to use httpd but i cannot fix this issue with line 9 because i
do not know how.
if you read that website (translate it first) it will say how the
programmer put sux instead of sucks..

please fix this

sux ist im Paket coreutils enthalten.

ok, es fehlt eine Requires auf libxml2-python.
Also diese beiden Pakete installieren und es sollte funktionieren.

I've started a recompile of xine-lib against the new libcdio package.
Try again with 1.1.15-44.pm.2 as soon as it's available.

Shouldn't happen, kaffeine is compiled with XTest extension support and
shouldn't open the screensaver in full screen mode (in window mode it's
another thing). What DE/Windowmanager do you use. Didn't have and
didn't hear about such problems until now.

It simply doesn't compile with the imagemagick version, SUSE includes in
11.0.

I don't have the experency to fix it, so I don't think there will be a
version including imagemagick support until it is fixed in a new
transcode version.

Has been happening to me for some time with mplayer, I needed to use
the "-stop-xscreensaver" option with the latest KDE4 using compositing
with an NVIDIA card. Not sure what fixed it, perhaps a KDE4 update or
perhaps the update to the 177.80 drivers... but now works without
"-stop-xscreensaver".

libfmodex..

Hi,

I am needing fmodex 4.18, but upon further examination I found that
fmod.org produces totally braindead .so files that are not correctly
versioned according to
http://www.nondot.org/sabre/Mirrored/libtool-2.1a/libtool_6.html

So until they fixed it, it will be necessary to put different fmod
versions into different directories, e.g. %_libdir/fmodex-%version/
instead of %_libdir, and %_includedir/fmodex-%version/fmodex instead of
%_includedir/fmodex. Could you do this modification for the package?
(And maybe call it libfmodex420 instead)

thanks,
Jan

Re: kaffeine 0.8.7 packman - screensaver starting during movie playback

Sorry. I did not provide you with much

KDE 3.5
$> kaffeine --version
Qt: 3.3.8b
KDE: 3.5.9 "release 49.1"
Kaffeine Player: 0.8.7

'intel' xorg driver. Yes -- it is happening during fullscreen playback.
This happens always, reliably.

I also have xscreensaver package and kscreensaver packages installed (they
come default with OpenSUSE 11.0 KDE 3.5 installation (DVD))

THanks for your time, and prompt and curteous reply.
