TimeObject bug in CVS

I had to add the following line to the Customer.pm module because the NotificationAgentOnline module
tries to create a Session object that needs the TimeObject passed into it. This was to get customer.pl
working properly.

diff -r1.40 Customer.pm
146a147
>                     TimeObject => $Self->{TimeObject},

Would you please open a report with the error message on this problem in 
our bugzilla system on

Please include your patch in this report also.

Its the best to use bugzilla for problems like that and also for 
patches, so things won't get lost.

Emails

Guys,

What I am after is some advice on amending the way email text is setup.  
Below is an example from an email from Christian.  You can see that the 
salutation 'Hi Owen' is added and then the new text is added below the 
original mail.

Is it possible to change this so new text is automatically added above the 
original mail - or possibly get rid of the original mail text altogether?

To reformat your outgoing OTRS Email, simply add the following to Config.pm :

$Self->{ResponseFormat} = '$Data{"Salutation"}

$Data{"StdResponse"}

$Data{"OrigFrom"} $Text{"wrote"}:
$Data{"Body"}

$Data{"Signature"}
';

If you don't want the original message displayed remove :

$Data{"OrigFrom"} $Text{"wrote"}:
$Data{"Body"}

Event + ticket

Hello OTRS dev,

I saw the new Calendar option into OTRS 2.
Is there a plan to make a connection between a ticket and an event?
I mean it would be very useful to generate an event from a (connected to) a ticket.

May I have more info regarding this issue?

Fine, you tested OTRS 2.0. Any feedback about the new package manager? :-)

In OTRS 2.0 we moved to see tickets and faqs as objects. So we also plan 
to have event objects (but currentlly we don't have event objects).

And with the OTRS framework comes a basic feature to link objects. So if 
we moved the events to objects it is not problem to link also events to 
tickets or faqs.

Yes, it looks like an bug. I'll check it (should be fixed in OTRS 2 beta3).
