[OOo-Hebrew] פרויקט תרגום קבצי העזרה באופן אופיס

שלום לכולם,

כמה אנשים הביעו רצון לעזור בתרגום לעברית של קבצי העזרה
של אופן אופיס.

הקמנו רשימת דיוור חדשה לטובת פרויקט תרגום קבצי העזרה בשם
hebrew-help-translation.

רשימת הדיוור hebrew-help-translation תהיה המקום לדון בנושאים הקשורים
לתרגום קבצי העזרה.

[OOo-Hebrew] Compatibility issue to MS Powerpoint.

Hi,

In a documentation project I do, the customer insists on MS PowerPoint, 
I tried to use OOffice but had a lot of difficulties.

   1. They gave me a template but it didn't work well.
   2. I had to do "View Master" (MS Master/Slide) and fix some fields.
   3. Some fields in the "View Master" were not functioning such as in
      text block I couldn't change the text.
   4. the font "Arial black" did not do "Italic"
   5. Eventually, when I returned the project it had a lot of
      compatibility issues.

Any guidelines for compatibility with MS PowerPoint ?

[OOo-Hebrew] ???? ???? ????

אני מנסה לעבור משפה לשפה ע"י לחיצה על RTL ו-LTR, בגרסה 2 של OOo.
 
הלחיצה משנה כיוון, אך אני עדיין חייב לשנות את הגופן באופן ידני; האם ניתן שהכל ייעשה באופן אוטומטי?

[OOo-Hebrew] Migrating from 1.1.4 to 1.9.79

I just installed the beta of OO 2.0 (1.9.79), which finally has support for Ivrit. I’d like to start working with the new version, but would first like to migrate “little” items like my added spelling words, templates, macros, configuration, etc. I would assume that it’s mainly just a question of moving certain  files, but which?

 

Is there any place where one can learn how to go about this? Or can anyone help me on this?

Hi Shmuel,

The directory structure in OpenOffice was redesigned and is very
different in OpenOffice 2.0. This is why what you are trying to do -
migrate all your old settings from 1.1.4 is not so simple. Simply moving
files will not work. 

Here is a way to use the templates you created in 1.1.4 with OpenOffice
2.0beta:

In OpenOffice 2.0beta:
1. Go to File>Templates>Organize
2. Click on the "file" button in the "Template management" window
3. Select the templates you created in OpenOffice 1.1.4 that you want to
add to the OpenOffice 2.0Beta
4. click OK

After following these steps your templates should be available when you
go to File>New>Templates and documents.

למה אתה משתמש בלחצנים הללו למעבר שפה? הם מיועדים
לשינוי כיווניות הפיסקה 
בה אתה נמצא, לא לשליטה על השפה.
מעבר שפה נעשה בדרך הרגילה של מערכת ההפעלה- למשל  CTRL+Shift בחלונות.

Not surprising. OpenOffice does not "fake" font wights- it uses the 
typefaces that you have available. For example, "Arial Italic" is a 
separate font then "Arial regular". The standard "Arial black" that 
comes with Windows does not have an "Arial Black italic" variant, so 
OpenOffice can't display what you asked from it.

[OOo-Hebrew] זיהוי כיווניות באופן אופיס 2 על לינוקס

שלום,
כבר כתבתי על זה פה פעם, אבל האם יש איזשהו סיכוי שאופן
אופיס 2 יחליט האם אני במצב עברי או אנגלי בלינוקס לפי מצב
השפה של המקלדת, ולא לפי סביבת הטקסט?
כרגע השיטה שלו היא לפי סביבת הטקסט, כך שאם אני לוחץ
ctrl+shift, משנה את הגופן בתיבה בסרגל הכלים ומנסה לכתוב
בעברית, התוצאה היא באותו הגופן שהיה קודם. הסיבה היא
שהוא משנה את הגופן של האנגלית, ולא של העברית, מה שבכלל
לא קשור למה שרציתי. אילו הוא היה מעביר את המקלדת למצב
עברי בלחיצה על ctrl+shift, ואז שם לב שהיא במצב עברי ומשנה את
הפונט הנכון, היה הרבה יותר טוב.
לדעתי בכלל צריך להשתמש במצב המקלדת כדי להחליט על
כיווניות של תווים חסרי כיווניות, כמו מספרים, וכך
להחליט האם הם יהיו בגופן העברי או האנגלי, ואפילו כדי
להחליט איך מסדרים את הטקסט, כך שאני אוכל לכתוב ש"קובץ
נמצא בספריה" (אלט שיפט) "‎/home/noam" והלוכסן הראשון יהיה
במקום הנכון. זה מה ש־word עושה, לפי מה שראיתי. אבל זה
בעדיפות שנייה.
