Newbie Ques

Hey,
        I tried using gnump3d and the web interface is working fine. The problems I m facing are::
1. When I hover over the mp3/ogg files on the html interface I c them linked as filename.mp3.m3u

2. The major problem is when i click on the links (songs) and open them with xmms. I get a Error popup
    saying http 1.0 /ok (infact it doesnt look like an error)
The folder I m indexing has the permissions 777 (just in case) and the user is same as the "root" in the config
file.

Do I need to do something more to play them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thankyou

Yes, but since it's unlikely that you want anyone from that subnet, you can just use this:

allowed_clients = all
denied_clients = 66.249.65.0/24

Awhile back I added code for recursive password checking and I think it's still in there. You should be able to put different password protections on different subdirectories. Best to test it first, though!

Showing which user played what

Hello,

I was wondering if it would possible to display the username that has
played a particular song; the /history page now only displays the ip.

Any ideas?

How to include php in Gnump

Hello,

I was wondering how I could include some php code into one of the pages of
Gnump. I used

<?php
phpinfo( );
?>

to test if gnump would parse the code, but I didn't..it gave me a blank
page. (while I'm sure that my server has php installed as I'm running
another website coded in php)

Can anyone help me?

Oh, by the way, the php I would like to include if from phpsysinfo; I want
to include the mounts!

Clear Search Results

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the search in gnump3d. Currently I am running version 2.9.8 on a Ubuntu (Dapper) machine, pretty much using the default configuration.

Maybe I'm just missing something, but I seem to be unable to clear the results of a search I conducted. On the search-page, beneath the result-table, I have only the following options:
- Play all results
- Search Again (which performs the exact same search again)

Where would I find an option to clear these results and conduct a new search?

Thanks
Benjamin Damer

Re: Clear Search Results

Hmm, I don't really understand your question I think..But I suppose you
aren't able to enter a new keyword in the search field? Have you already
tried to delete your cookies?

And which template are you using?

Re: Clear Search Results

Hello Matthijs,

exactly, I am unable to enter a new keyword, because the "search again" link just reloads the result page. So there's no way to even get to the search form after I conducted a search.

I deleted my cookies and that fixed the problem temporarily (as in: it worked once, but as soon I conduct my first search, it's the same problem again).

I am using the template "tabular".

Thanks

Re: Clear Search Results

If you click on the text "Search" in the top list of tabs again, you should get a new search form.

   Try this patch from Matthew Cheetah which should avoid these cookies
  being reset. (You will need to clean them first though.)
