Try Prefs -> Googlebox -> "Hide MultiZilla toolbar buttons when
the Googlebox is activated"

GoogleBox displays but MultiZilla buttons do not display on toolbar

Hello,

I seem to be having a cross-platform problem that I'm not sure is a bug
or simply me not understanding how to use MultiZilla properly.

I have Mozilla 1.7 installed on my Macintosh (PowerBook G4 with OS
10.3.4) along with MultiZilla 1.6.4.0b and GoogleBox 1.4

I also have Mozilla 1.6 installed on my Windows XP systems along with
MultiZilla 1.6.4.0b and GoogleBox 1.4

GoogleBox displays properly on the MultiZilla toolbar, but I cannot
seem to get any of the buttons in the MultiZilla toolbar to display.
This problem also occurs on my Windows XP systems. I have searched
through all the preferences panes to ensure I have the properly set all
the options on both the Macintosh and Windows XP computers.

I suspect I'm doing something stupid, but I cannot figure out how I
have the GoogleBox displayed but none of the standard MultiZilla
buttons will display. I have tried changing which buttons are checked
to be displayed, and I have tried deactivating ChatZilla. Any
assistance you could offer to help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Middle click not opening tabs when source is open

I am not sure if this is Multizilla related.

But when view source window is open, the middle click stops opening new
tabs. Something happens, I get the load pause, and sometimes it opens a
new tab in a different window.

Right click->Open new tab works fine.

I am running 1.8 alpha on Fedore Core1 latest download.

Anyone else notice this?

WFM on Mozilla build 2004-07-04-07 on Win2K with MZ 1.6.4.0b,
with view source set to open in a window and in a tab.

Maxbrowser mode - where/how?

On the MultiZilla screenshots page
(http://multizilla.mozdev.org/screenshots.html) there is a screenshot of
"Maxbrowser" mode that looks like mozilla mail/news, browser, etc are
all in one window in individual tabs. I have looked all over, and can't
seem to find any relevant settings. Any hints on how to do this? is it
possible even? Note that I do have the "Messenger" checkbox checked in
the Preferences->MultiZilla->Links dialog.

Thanks for any tips/hints!

That is a /very/ old screenshot, and is not supported in
MultiZilla since can cause instability. However, if you open a
new tab and enter chrome://messenger/content/messenger.xul into
the location bar, this will open MailNews in that tab. Note:
this has been known to cause instability and may not work
properly. *Do it at your own risk*.

Disabling Multizilla

Hi,

I saw in the FAQ a link for how to re-enable MultiZilla. Unfortunately, I can't determine how to
disable MultiZilla (need to do some testing of a website). I've seen references to an "Extension
Manager", but I can't seem to find this in my install or where I would get it.

Thanks for any help.

Question: Firebird and MultiZilla

hello,

I am running Windows XP Pro SP1. I am only using mozilla Firebird 0.9.2
instead of the whole mozilla internet suite. Will MulitZilla work this
way or do I need the whole suite? Thanks.

To disable MultiZilla, ensure that the QuickPrefs button is
visible (on the navigation toolbar, personal toolbar or
MultiZilla toolbar from Prefs -> MultiZilla -> Buttons). Press
the QuickPrefs button and select the last menu item ("Extension
Management") which will expand a list of extensions that you have
installed, including MultiZilla itself, and allow you to disable
them.
