Go to about:config, search for "middle" and set
middlemouse.contentLoadURL to false
middlemouse.paste to true
(add any of the preferences if they are not shown)

Actually setting this one was the issue. Is this a multizilla change?
It now behaves as before, when middleclicking in a input box, it input,
when I middle click on the site, it loads the URL.

Thanks!

Now to find a mozilla build for linux that doesn't look like crap. The
default one appears to have no font hinting.

Can't Drag Pages to Bookmark Sidebar

Before I installed MultiZilla, I was able to drag from the Address window or
a tab bar the website I was looking at to my bookmarks. Now I can't do it.
Is there a fix for this?

I believe that the Mozilla.org builds for *nix don't use XFT fonts.
Try one of the builds from the Mozilla Builds forum that has XFT
enabled, or compile yourself with that flag set.

WFM, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a)
Gecko/20040427 MultiZilla/1.6.3.2d

I dragged from the the favicon in the location bar and from the tab
to the bookmarks sidebar. It also works if I drag to the bookmarks
menu.

What build/OS are you using, and what version of MultiZilla? Do you
get any errors in the Javascript console?

Question: MultiZilla vs prefbar

Greetings,

Using:
 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113
MultiZilla/1.6.3.1c

I searched in the buglist and FAQ with no luck, but I didn't want to open a
bug report on an issue that may already be documented elsewhere. This issue
seems to common (simple) not to have been mentioned before. Maybe I can
find out from here...

While I appreciate the broad functionality of MultiZilla (MZ hereafter), I
find that for me, some of the overlapping functions are more conveniently
provided by PrefBar (http://prefbar.mozdev.org/ <http://prefbar.mozdev.org/>
- PB hereafter). However, with MZ installed, it seems to be overriding PB
from time to time.

I have not done extensive testing, but I have noticed that (for instance) if
I try to use the PB checkboxes for Colors, Images, Proxies, etc... Mozilla
ignores my choice, and the checkbox changes back to it's previous state when
I click on a link, or reload a page. Other functions such as the User Agent
changer, seem to work fine. Thus, although I can't give a comprehensive
list, I do know that the problem is not a universal conflict between the two
tools.

Is this a known issue already, or should I submit a bug report for it?

Can you be more specific as to what your problem is, and what
MultiZilla build that you're using? I can drag from a tab to the
bookmarks sidebar, the bookmarks button or the bookmarks menu without
problems. I can also drag from the icon in the location bar to the
bookmarks sidebar/button/menu without problems.

Open the Javascript console before carrying out the operation
(ensuring that error reporting is active in QuickPrefs -> Javascript
settings) and let us know of any errors or warnings.

I'm afraid that I don't use PrefBar, so I can't really help you, but
have you definitely tried narrowing it down to MZ being the problem?
Does the problem not occur if MZ is not installed? Do you get any
errors on the Javascript console?

Oh, and the next release of MZ will have one-click access to blocking
images/frames/scripts/plugins :o).

Quick Prefs - Browser Spoofing - Crash

Mozilla 1.7RC1 Mozilla/5.0
(Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421
MultiZilla/1.6.2.0c)

Multizilla 1.6.2.0. revision C

If I left click on the wrench (spanner) in the Mutlizilla toolbar I get
a drop down menu. Most things seem to be working okay except when I
hover over Browser Spoofing. When I do that, I get no spoofing
selections and Mozilla crashes.

(How hard/easy is it to update. Will I have to reset Multizilla
preferences or is it all automatic?)

Read the red banner on the installation page

"We kindly ask you to install the MultiZilla nightly for Mozilla builds after 2004-04-16 due to Mozilla bug
221619 being fixed."

In short, you should really upgrade to our current nightly.

Correct, this is bug: http://mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=6053
and mozilla bug: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=238413

P.s. I hope to be able to update the source for QPrefs soon.

Upgrading to MultiZilla version 1.6.3.2e should be fairly easy. All you need is our installation page.
