CHROME_REGISTRY_ERROR

I have Mozilla 1.5 final!But when I instal. v1.5.0.3(h) I receive the 
message: CHROME_REGISTRY_ERROR

What kind of installation was this?
a) what platform/OS are you using?
b) did you install for a single- or multi user?
c) is this a first time installation?
d) check installed-chrome.txt for the following lines:

  content,install,url,jar:resource:/chrome/multiviews.jar!/content/
  skin,install,url,jar:resource:/chrome/multiviews.jar!/skin/
  locale,install,url,jar:resource:/chrome/multiviews.jar!/locale/en-US/

is this snip part of your copy of installed-chrome.txt?

I get a CHROME_REGISTRY_ERROR (-239) too when trying to upgrade to 1.5.0.3(k) on
this: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4; MultiZilla v1.5.0.2g)
Gecko/20031008

And I do have all of the above in installed-chrome.txt

Hope you can do something with that info.

Problems with Form filling when running Multizilla

I was having a very strange problem in Mozilla, starting around 1.4. I
could no longer double click on a form field and have it fill in my
data. I tried most everything I could think of, including upgrading to
various nightlies, and it wouldn't work.

Just today, I grabbed the latest 1.6a build. I had a problem installing,
so I started from scratch. Lo and behold, my form filling was back! So
I started adding my my extras and it stopped working. By a process of
elmination, I found it was Multizilla breaking it.

I can install the latest 1.6a, go to a page with a form on it, and it
fills in just fine when I double click. For instance, I've been using
a simple form for getting an email newsletter:

https://www.truthout.org/membership/sub_mgmt.php

I can just double click on the field and my email address gets added.

Then I install the very latest Multizilla, go to that page and double
clicking doesn't fill in my email address! Yikes! Any ideas? I need to
have both of these working. For right now, I've decided form filling is
better, but I need my Multizilla!

I'm running :

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031030 MultiZilla/1.5.0.3l

I feel stupid but I never even heared of this feature. Btw, does menu Tools/Form Manager/Fill in Form still
work for you?

File a bug, because that would help to get it fixed.

I just ran some test and it works perfectly for me. Here are my steps to reproduce:
1)visit https://www.truthout.org/membership/sub_mgmt.php
2)enter your e-mail address
3)use menu Tools/Form Manager/Save Form Info to save the form info
4)close this tab and reopen a new one with the same URL
5)double click in that form field

Current and expected result: my e-mail address was filled in automatically

So I can't reproduce this with mozilla 2003101904, but let me recheck with a more recent build (back later).

Yes, that's how I was doing it while it was broken, as I wasn't ready
to give up my Multizilla!

The Form Manager is a *really* nice feature. I was using an add-on tool
back in the days of IE, but this one works much nicer.

Doesn't work for me. If you use the Form Manager to Edit Form Info, you
can add your email address so that whenever any form asks for it, a double
click will fill it in for you.

But even if I do the Save Form Info trick, a double click still doesn't fill
it in.

Strange, because it hasn't work for me in months. I downloaded the latest 1.6a
and it still doesn't work. Is there any kind of preference I could be setting

Hm, well, this must be some sort of mozilla bug.

I didn't change a specific pref setting, and remember that I also installed a new mozilla build without any problems.

You might e-mail me your pref settings from prefs.js so that I can recheck with your pref settings, but I
don't think this would help.

May be, as it's working for me on one machine with Mozilla 1.5 (final), but 
not working on other machine with Mozilla 1.6a.
