According to squaredancer, I'm hardly seen; so if you disagree, you'll
have to take that up with him. :-)

You may want to consider the dates, such as when the blog entry was
posted [Dec 1], when I replied to Chris Hofmann[1], and when I did all
the website updates[2].

I was just speculating a reason for squaredancer's comment. :-)

Seeing a post must be OT for me to delete it, any affect it would have
on stats would be in favour of those who don't think it's a problem.
Anywise, I have not removed any of Peter's posts.

"Begged"?....Yeah, okay; I think there were a couple of instances where
I resorted to begging. :-)

Look at the all-time posters:
<http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.support.firefox/about>
<http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.support.thunderbird/about>

And:
- I don't go OT. That's almost all user support.
- The drop-off is because of this

if you've gone on hiatus, then how can you be in the groups telling
everyone to take it to mail or to mo.gen. And, if you've gone on
hiatus, then how can you delete/remove messages. You really haven't gone
on hiatus then, otherwise, you wouldn't be in the groups period.

That's not what I said. I asked if he accepted its authority. Because if
it does, we can create one :-)

The analogy is still looking good to me. :-) The core belief here is
that we want to provide the best possible user experience - and that
includes usable support forums.

This analogy also continues to be excellent. Everyone has the ability to
read news, but the conditions under which a person may write it are
restricted (in some way).

You are incorrigible, aren't you? :-) How much effort would it have been
to find the right forum to ask that question?

Well, here's someone whose contribution we could quite happily do
without, it seems.
