Newbie to 1.0 .::. do I move to 1.1 ?

Hi,

As a newbie to Mozilla I have really taken to it (I'm an
indpdt web designer too).

Is the 1.1 version something that is ready to be used by
non-testers ?
I visited the site but couldn't find a download button that
indicated this. It mentioned special versions.

Re: Mozilla 1.1 Release - system freeze

Shred, do you have an ATI Radeon graphics card? There's a bug
in the newer drivers for these cards that cause Mozilla 1.1 to
freeze the system.

Yes, indeed I do. My Geforce2 Ultra recently died, so I'm running on a borrowed Radeon. Thanks!

When I click on a link a new instance opens up.

When I click on a link a new instance opens up. A new windows that
can't back button to the link. It doesn't happen on all links. I
don't know why.

Here's one

I hit those links and they open up new windows instead of loading into
them.

Once again the tiny mind makes a huge demonstration of it's limitless ignorance.
The art style is called Constructivist, which was starteed long before the
Bolshevik revolution in Russian, and is not representative of China at all. The
style ws user bu Soviets, Facists, and Democratics as well. During WWII the
USSR, Nazi Germany, and the USA all used the Constructivist style of art to
gather up popular support for the war. Note that the USA and the USSR were on
the same side in WWII.

Unless one was to get permission.

It didn't mention Bugzilla either. Or Tinderbox, or Bonsai, or any other
mozilla.org technology. But it did mention Gecko, which is a Mozilla.org
technology. We don't expect the Mozilla distribution to rule the world, just Gecko.

Thank Netscape. mozilla.org is not respobnsible for what distributor put in
their distro, just as Linux Torvalds isn't responsible for Red Hat, Mandrake,

FWIW, I've been using Mozilla since build 0.9, and have had nothing
but problems with v1.1. It just isn't stable on by system (WinXP). It
crashes about every 10 minutes or so, where it says it has encountered
a problem and must close. I don't remember v1.0 or earlier versions
ever doing that.

two instances of mozilla w/ one profile on Linux

Does anyone know how to stop Mozilla 1.1 from popping up a window asking me
which profile I want to use? I only have one profile.

Specifically,
Slackware Linux 8.1
Blackbox windowmanager w/ 4 virtual desktops
If I have mozilla running, and try to start mozilla from the start menu,
it pops up a box asking me which profile to use. If I click the one
already in use, it says I can't use it because it is already in use.

I have two machines running Mozilla on Slackware/Blackbox and they don't
do that. I just built this third machine and it does this really
irritating thing. I tried copying a profile from another machine but it
didn't seem to matter.

I tried bot the Slackware system package of 1.0 and the mozilla.orf downloaded
1.1. Same problem.

It is really irritating to be in desktop 4 and want mozilla, and instead
of just clicking mozilla on the menu, I have to move to desktop 1, open a
new window and send it to desktop 4, then jump back to desktop 4 again.
Blech!

Any help appreciated.
