Okay, perhaps the website needs updating. I installed
http://mozilla-enigmail.org/download/nightly/enigmail-trunk-win32-comm191.xpi
which it says is for Thunderbird 3.0.x / SeaMonkey 2.0.1+.

No, you're right. This one should work on TB3.0.x.

I suppose enabling Expert Settings would have resolved your issue
even with the nightly you had installed.

Assuming you have your key configured in Enigmail, you only need to start
composing a message, then from the OpenPGP menu, choose 'Attach My Public Key'.
This will add your key to the message as an attachment.

Alternatively, you may open the Key Manager (Main window - OpenPGP -->
Key Management. Select your key, then right click and choose 'Copy Public Keys
to Clipboard' or choose the option from the Edit menu. Compose a message and
paste the copied key into the message body.

The recipient would use you public key either to verify your signature or to
send you an encrypted message.

If you are wishing to encrypt the message you send, then you have it reversed.
The recipient must send you his/her public key in order for you to send them
encrypted messages.

On http://enigmail.mozdev.org/download/index.php for SM 2.0.x still 1.0.0 is
offered. The Add-on Manager found 1.0.1 however.

French speaker and PowerPC support ?

 Hi guys,

I'm discussing with a user who uses TB3 on MacOS 10.4.11 and enigmail
1.0.1. he still can't quit TB3 when enigmail is enabled. He has issues
writting speaking english so doesn't feel confortable raising a bug. Any
french mac user and speaker willing to spend some time with the guy to
make a nice bug repport ?
Issue probably lies either in MacOS or the PPC compiled binary.

if someone is interested in Following up let me know and I'll make sure
you can talk to the user.

My French is not perfect, but I it's good enough for normal
communication -- point him to me :-)
