A new breed of free email! Worldwide access including WWW, Outlook, mobiles/PDAs etc.!

Being a gadget freak I own a T68I, T39, 6310I, 7650, 8310, and an IPAQ 3970. I've spent many an hour looking for
a unified email solution that would enable me to access my email from not only my *favorite email client &
web browser* but also my *mobile devices* as well. Eventually I found a solution offered by UPO, here's the
link :

http://www.universalpostoffice.com

They also offer you a variety of available email addresses including such as mymobile.net, and various
other phone/PDA type domains. They're even including 10mb of storage and POP3 access and aren't charging
a cent. For how long I don't know. BTW, easy access via GPRS/CSD with any built-in phone email client like
the 7650 or T68(I) has!

English calendar

Attached is a calendar derived from the one labelled "UK Holidays" on
the project page. In fact these holidays are for England (different
holidays prevail in Scotland and other parts of the Union) hence the new
name of the file.

This corrects a mistake (New Years day is at the beginning of January,
not December) and includes all the official "Bank" Holidays for England
in 2003. Sadly many UK holidays are not predictable enough to be handled
by a repetition algorithm, and so you'll need a new one next year.

Can whoever owns it please update the Calendar project page with this
English calendar, and perhaps put out a request for a Scottish calendar.

Nick.

multiple calendar files problem (bug)

Hi,

In my attempt to have a group calendar I have given the Mozilla calendar a
try. Unfortunately I have had some problems with that - in particular when
it comes to using multiple calendar files.

If I try to add a new calendar file - the program will only accept already
existing files. That is however solvable by copying another (old) .ICS file
to another file-name, and then pointing the program to that.

So far so good - it works perfectly - but as soon as you exit the calendar -
it forgets the location of the new calendar file. It is perfectly able to
view the entries in the calendar (so it must know where it is located) - but
if you right-click on the new calendar and choose edit - the location-field
is empty. The problems with this is that it now becomes impossible to add
new entries to the new calendar file. If e.g. choosing "new event" it is
only possible to add events to the "default" calendar file.....

Is this a known bug? Does anybody know a work-around?

Thank you in advance.

- Erik

resizing won't stick

Hi all. I've just downloaded the calendar module for mozilla 1.3a on
win2k. I view the calendar in Month View and when I resize the small
calendar / Tasks sidebar and then close the calendar, the new size isn't
preserved the next time I open the calendar. Anyone know if this is a
bug? Thanks.

Re: resizing won't stick

I've got the same issue, though I don't know whether it falls into "bug"
or "feature." Frankly, I hope it's the former - though I haven't seen
anything in Bugzilla about it.

If I knew more about Bugzilla I'd just report it myself, but at this
point I'm not familiar enough with that to do it well...

2003 calendar for publishing

Hi,
Happy new year to all of you. Hope Mozilla and its projects stay
alive and kicking as always. Hats off to all the volunteers involved.

Please find attached calendar file containing holidays for India in the
year 2003. I would really appreciate if the file is posted on the
Mozilla calendar project web page. I have provided the previous version
of the calendar for India too. The previous file can be safely replaced
with the new one.

Please let me know if I am missing any holiday or an important festival
in India.

for the sake of credits here is my name
Seshu Parvataneni

Just to clarify that, no matter whether I use the week or the month
view, the right hand side is past the edge of the box, with no scroll
bar to get there.

It displays fine here (Win98SE, Moz 1.3b 20030102, Cal 2002112809).
