Graphics During Breaks

Hi!

I've got a small repository of image files (.gif, .png, .jpg, etc) that I would like to display during
workrave breaks - just so I can take my hands off the keyboard and read a dilbert or something.

How hard would that be to do? I've not done GTK programming before..

Stephen.

Re: Graphics During Breaks

Hehe, you're not supposed to read the screen during breaks! :)
Wellwell, anyway - I guess this wouldn't be so hard. - Theres a whole
lot of tutorials on the net.

I don't know which OS you use, but in Linux you have several of tools
to code GTK. :)

You really should not be looking at the screen during breaks. It would
increase your eye strain. Given that this is not good for your health,
we will not add any such feature to Workrave.

Nevertheless, it is quite easy to do, even without programming. Have a
look at the "exercises.xml" file that comes with Workrave. You can
easily add an exercise showing dilbert from there using just a simple
text editor. No recompiling is required...

Regards,
