Re: Error during database creation!

Hi,

The error message is ( Error during database creation! the server crashed during installation. We suggest
you to drop this database. )

The error appears in creation after the "base/res/res_company" (if 'company_id' is a 'res_company')

I try many time and i found that the error appear when the company filtering is on (multi company).

A more insteresting part is where close fiscal year is not working well when the filtering is on too.

invoice cuostomization

Hi there.

I want to change the invoice appearance in TinyERP. It is posible to put
my own .gif Image (company logo), change the text (i.e.: in order to
appear in Spanish), and things like put the number of the invoice and
the format (i.e.: force it to begin like: F10001 and then F10002, and so
on)?

Thanks for your help.

yes, you can put your image, like it is in comments in
addons/custom/corporate_rml_headers.rml
<!-- <image x="0.1cm" y="28.8cm" file="addons/custom/logo.gif"/>
-->

You can translate the text like anything else.

Sequences can be defined or changed in Administration -> Sequences ->

Re: Re: Interface avec SugarCrm

This looks really great - You've even documented it! My two favourite
apps together at last!.

I can't wait to install it and try it!

Are their any more integration features planned in the future?

Sorry for the lack of french Walid0577.

Hello Shankar,

It looks the right sort of thing but there is at least 1 spelling mistake

and I don't think step 8 is right so I guess this isn't an exact transcript of your session. I'd recommend
doing that to test out your instructions.

Alternatives are possible. You don't have to chown if you chmod to make it executable by others and you might
want to use a different user from postgres, as described by beate and/or bounaberdi elsewhere in this
forum. Also, there are many possible ways to organize your files and you may not want to use root at any time.

I confess I took the shortcut route described by emanuele.gissi earlier in the thread and added one or two
more packages (e.g. imaging) - but the route you take here, from scratch, is more robust.

All the best,
Geoff

attachments: some can be opened, others can't

HI,

is there anyone who whas seen the same behaviour as i have:

1. open an existing object, for instance a CRM case (but its the same with all objects)
2. attach a document through a link ("+ add as link")
3. try to open the document from within the attachment-dialog (by double-clicking on the entry)
4. some document types open and others don't, those who don't sometimes have error messages, but mostly not.
5. error message = "unable to preview image file! Verify the format"

al the files i tried could be opened from the local file-browser!

i tried this on a windows client, both with server on windows XP (same machine) and with server on ubuntu
6.06-LTS linux (other machine).

tries i've done:
- opens: .pdf, .doc, .xls, .jpg
- does not open without error message: all text-documents, all openoffice documents, .msg (outlook mails)
- does not open with error message: .jpg, .gif, .png

is there something that should be installed on client-side or server-side to be able to open all attachments?

plan comptable associatif

hello
Sorry in french because it's too difficult for me to translante in english.

bonjour
