Error_Client-Server (Protegè WebProtege)

Hi!
I've got a problem: I've installed the Protegè client-server version, I create a new project on the protegè and then I modified the metaproject, adding this new project in order to be able to visualize this on the web application.
I've modified the file properties to load projects from server, but when I try to load these it appears this error : Load project Prova failed.
"Message: 500 The call failed on the server; see server log for details ", I see also the log files, but there's no information about this problem!

thank you
roberta

Re: help for converting UML TO OWL

Hi Shofana,

It might be work taking a look at

http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-614/owled2010_submission_5.pdf

Which was at a recent OWLED workshop. They claim to have an implementation for Protege 4.

Cheers,

Matthew

Re: NullPointerException:null

Hi Jayadianti,

Can you repeat this every time? Would it be possible to post your ontologies to the list?

Cheers,

Matthew

GraphWidget with Protégé 3.4.8

Hello,

Is-it possible to make a graph widget available with Protégé 3.4.8, in
the form tab, for some classes, in order to draw and export the images
obtained in the instance tab, as presented in the GraphWidget with class
Organization and San José Mercury News ?

How ?

Re: GraphWidget with Protégé 3.4.8

Hello Jean-Louis,

The GraphWidget will only appear as an option in the "Selected Widget
Type" combo box on the Forms tab if you've selected a slot in the Form
Editor that has a value type of Instance and multiple cardinality. In
the newspaper example that comes with Protege 3.4.8, the GraphWidget is
assigned to the "employees" slot. If you examine this slot on the Slots
tab, you can see that is has a value type of Instance and multiple
cardinality.

There is a graph widget tutorial on our website that you might find helpful:

Re: Error_Client-Server (Protegè WebProtege)

Hi Roberta,

Please follow the steps in the WebProtege troubleshooting guide (http://protegewiki.stanford.edu/wiki/WebProtegeAdminGuide#Troubleshooting_the_External_Server_Mode), and report back the results. Please include also:
- the protege log file  (from protege install dir/logs/file with largest number), and
- catalina.out from tomcat/logs.

Thanks,
Tania

Re: GraphWidget with Protégé 3.4.8

Hi,

because of this thread, I stumbled upon the GraphWidget for the very first time.
That is a very nice widget!

But:
The documentation under http://protege.stanford.edu/doc/tutorial/graph_widget/ is not complete,
as some of the images are missing.
Furthermore, I struggle with Step 7: It is not possible to change the allowed class type of the :FROM and :TO
because these slots are "read-only". I wonder why..

Re: GraphWidget with Protégé 3.4.8

I've used the GraphWidget quite a lot.

To use the :FROM and :TO, you need to create a new relationship class that is a sub-class of :DIRECTED-BINARY-RELATIONSHIP.
In your new subclass, you can then set the allowed Classes for the :FROM and :TO slot.

Hope this helps

Jonathan
