Advanced Pattern for Serials Help

I have this serial that comes every other month and is number like
this Vol 1 Num 1/2, Vol 1 Num 3/4. I have this pattern in place, but
it's not quite working.

See the screenshots here: http://screencast.com/t/exxF7ekCw

And the pattern I used is here:

Values for X
Add : 1
once every: 6
other values should be ok

Values for Y
Add : 2
oncer every : 1
When more than 12
Set back to 1

Values for Z
Add : 2
oncer every : 1
When more than 12
Set back to: 2

Any ideas on this? I've been working on it for ages now and have had
no luck - I don't know why it's not working.

Thanks in advance!

?s re Koha on a Mac - server died

I work in a small school library. The school's computers run on an
Apple server. When we installed Koha, the tech used a separate Dell
server with Linux and connected it to the library Mac. The Dell
server just died and I have some questions.

Our new IT guy found a link to download Koha to a Mac, but that is
version 3.0 - we originally had version 2.9, but I know that Koha is
up to 3.6 at this point. Is it recommended to download to a Mac and
if so, is there an updated version available? We do not need the
capability to connect to other libraries in a network, but I do use
the z39.50 function to import MARC records. So, first ?, should we go
with the Mac download or install a new Linux server/computer?

Second ?, our Koha records were backed up using CrashPlan so hopefully
we didn't lose anything. When we re-download Koha (whether on a Mac
or with Linux), I would love to use an updated version. Are we going
to have problems restoring the original data into an updated version?

Thanks for any info,
Shelley

Can't search UNIMARC authorities

Hello koha-people, I have some authority records in auth_header table, I also
ran a sudo koha-rebuild-zebra -f but I'm still having no chance: I can't
search for any authority in Koha backend by Default, nor by NPs, Authority,
Main heading or All headings anyway.

Here's some info: I'm using the Koha 3.6 italian UNIMARC installation from
packages. I'm using the default authority types configuration (see
attachment). I've set the Thesaurus value of NP for 200$f and 700$a in the
UNIMARC MN framework.

Sample authority record (the following fields are from auth_header table):

authid: 1
authtypecode: NP
datecreated: 2011-12-04
datemodified: NULL
origincode: NULL
authtrees: NULL
marc: [BLOB - 162B]
linkid: NULL
marcxml: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<record

Bugzilla Installation List

Hi Gerv,

Was just checking the list of installations on Bugzilla. As a member of the Koha community, I just noticed
that our Bugzilla installation is not listed correctly anymore (probably for some time already).

Bugzilla for open source Koha is found here: http://bugs.koha-community.org/

The Koha open source community site is http://koha-community.org

The two currently listed URLs refer to Liblime Koha. One of them is not working.

Could you please adjust the listing? I am copying the Koha mailing list and Liblime Koha. If they still use
Bugzilla, they may probably respond for themselves also.

Thanks,

Marcel

Sample Matching rule

Can someone please help me one final time with matching rules?

Below is a PARTIAL MARC record from a Safari Books Online book record.  Can you tell me what my matching rule
should look like in order to search for BOTH 020 fields?  Can Koha handle searching two ISBNs in the import record?

Koha User Group - Melbourne (Aus)

I am a Koha user based in Melbourne, and I know of a few others.
At the recent VALA conference held here it was suggested that we form a user group to meet a few times a year to
exchange tips and ideas and provide support for newbies.

If there is anyone on the list who is interested in this idea could you contact me ( off list please).
