 * Descripción *

 * Descripción *

 Sweave:
    combines typesetting with LaTeX and data anlysis with S into
integrated statistical documents. When run through R, all data analysis
output (tables, graphs, ...) is created on the fly and inserted into a
final LaTeX document. The report can be automatically updated if data
or analysis change, which allows for truly reproducible research.

JAGS - Just Another Gibbs Sampler

Página web: http://www-fis.iarc.fr/~martyn/software/jags/

 * Descripción *

 What is JAGS?
JAGS is Just Another Gibbs Sampler. It is a program for analysis of
Bayesian hierarchical models using Gibbs sampling not wholly unlike
BUGS. JAGS was written with three aims in mind:

    * To have an engine for the BUGS language that runs on Unix
    * To be extensible, allowing users to write their own functions,
distributions and samplers.
    * To be a plaftorm for experimentation with ideas in Bayesian
modelling

To this last end, JAGS is licensed under the GNU General Public
License. You may freely modify and redistribute it under certain
conditions (see the file COPYING for details).

OpenBugs

Página web: http://mathstat.helsinki.fi/openbugs/

 * Descripción *

BUGS (Bayesian inference Using Gibbs Sampling) is a piece of computer
software for the Bayesian analysis of complex statistical models using
Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods. It has been developing and
maturing over the years, and is probably best known in its WinBugs
incarnations. The latest version can run on Windows and Linux, as well
as from inside the R statistical package.

http://solvengineer.com/blog/2006/12/a_programming_tutorial_and_a_peek_inside_the_programmers_mind.html

 * Descripción *

 This Scilab program will calculate the shear forces distributed to a
fastener pattern by a load in the same plan as the fasteners, but whose
location can be different from the location of the centroid of the
fastener pattern. Direct shear and axial loads are distributed only as
a function of the fastener material and diameter, not the fastener
location.
