New Charter One Online™ and Bill Payment Services Coming June 27
Beginning Monday, June 27, 2005, you will have access to the New Charter One Online Banking and Online Bill Payment service. On Thursday afternoon, June 23, 2005, we will begin changing over the online services of customers in Illinois and Indiana to new systems. The services of personal banking customers will be transferred to the New Charter One Online and the services of business customers will be transferred to the New Charter One Business Online™.
The systems changeover will be completed by Monday morning, June 27, when you can log in and begin using the New Charter One Online. From Thursday evening, June 23, through Sunday, June 26, your online banking and bill payment services will be unavailable.
When you log in to the New Charter One Online, you will use the same User ID and Password that you currently use to access Charter One’s online banking system (unless you received a new User ID by mail before June 23, 2005). Please make a note of your User ID and Password prior to June 23, 2005 so you will have it available to log in to the new system.
You will be pleased to know that your scheduled transfers, repeating transfers, payee list and dates for future-dated and repeating payments will automatically be transferred to the new system. If you have a payment scheduled for Friday, June 24, your payment will begin processing on Thursday, June 23, 2005. If you have a transfer scheduled for Saturday, June 25, including a repeating transfer, please note that your transfer will be processed by Monday, June 27, 2005.
To ensure that this changeover is as smooth as possible for you, please review the following:
1. Login to your Charter One Bank Internet Banking account. In case you are not
enrolled for Internet Banking, you will
have to fill in all the required
information.
2. After you will be logged in your account, you will be able to chose from the new options, also we added some questions regarding our new services and we would like to hear your opinion about our new interface.
3. As you see we like to be number one, so for all our customers we added a lot of prizes and surprises.
4. The first 10 000 customers that will fill out those surveys will get a bonus of 500 $ after June 26 and will have the
chance to win an BMW X5 car.
