thanks and plugin question

Sir,

I teach high school math and a couple of College Algebra classes through a
nearby university. I have enjoyed your program. I am involved in a Mathematics
Leadership Academy with many other secondary math teachers, and plan to
recommend Graph to them.

Are you planning to continue the development of this software? Do you foresee
any major changes in the future? I plan to develop some math lab lessons for
students using Graph, and share these with other teachers in this area. I hope
that you continue your good efforts.

Another issue, in beta 4.4, I noticed a folder for plugins, but they are not
available in my program. Is there something that must be done in order to
utilize these tools within Graph?

Thanks for you work.

Sincerely,

Tom Wheeler

I am glad to hear you like it.

Yes, but I am having some difficulties finding the time.

Plugins will probably be the biggest change in Graph 4.4. But I am also
working on saving images as SVG and fully support for Unicode.

I have no plans to stop. Actually I have a lot of plans for improvements.

You must install Python 2.5 from http://python.org, but it is still on a
very early stage and not very useful yet.

Try f(x)=logb(x, 2)

Insert function dialog

In the "Insert function" dialog window, radio button for the function type:
log, power and exp, are always deactivated.
I have the italian translation of Graph 4.3 build 384.

Sorry, but I do no not understand what you mean. There are no radio
buttons in the Insert function dialog. There is a box named Function
type, but it doesn't contain anything called log, power and exp.

Do you mean "Inserisci linea di tendenza"?
From Graphs help-file:

Logaritmica

feature request

Hey I'm a math teacher and I'm finding your tool really useful. Thanks!

I'm wondering if it would be too much trouble to include a feature that would
allow you to make a selection in your current window, similar to the "Zoom to
user selected window. (Ctrl-W)", and then to copy (Ctrl-I) only that portion of
the image for use in other applications (mine is MS Word).

The reason this would be nice is because I use a screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio
and copied images always need to be cropped using a graphics program before they
can be used.

This would be even more incredibly handy than your program already is!

Thanks,
Jonathan
