Use Function|Insert function and enter the function equation as
-100x+5000. You probably need to zoom a little out. You can try Zoom|Fit.

Pointseries

I would like an open circle to be included in the style options of a pointseries so that I can show a difference with points belonging to a certain graph (e.g. piecewise defined functions) with a filled circle and points not belonging to the graph with an open circle, this being the convention used in the books of calculus that I use in my class as mathteacher.

If you by "open circle" mean one that is white inside, then you can just
change the color to white.

I join in the same wish - and by the same reasons.

Nowadays, I take the avi and sen it to GifAnimator (free download from
Microsoft) for conversion into an animated gif - but it needs some hand-
adjustment.

As I generate the web page authomatically (from LaTeX to MathML) with graphics
included, and the chief conversor (ImageMagick) cannot handle Graph avi
format, it would be quite convenient to have the separated frames to input -
or a ready-made gif, of course.

By the way - for great features with thourough simplicity of use, Graph is THE
thing. I am sending to it my students (Analysis on first year level,
university of mathematics) to get familiar with graphics.

I am not sure why this sometimes happens. But it usually helps to try
downloading the file again. Alternatively you can download it from

As you can see, the beta version of Graph 4.4 at
http://padowan.dk/graph/DownloadBeta.php can save the individual frames
in the animation dialog. I am currently implementing Python scripting in
Graph 4.4, which should make it possible to control such things in more
detail.
