That actually also happens for me. When you double click on a grf file
in Explorer to open it in Graph, it will be opened in the version of
Graph last used, not the one last installed.

This is caused by a change in version 4.0. The problem may happen if one
of the axes are logarithmic scaled, and you open the file with a version
of Graph less than 4.0.

It is easy to fix though. In the Edit|Axes dialog you need to set
crossing of the x-axis to y=1 and the crossing of the y-axis to x=0.
They get swapped if you open the file with version 3.3.1 or earlier.

This is by design. I disabled the legend in the preview because it often
took too much space, and I thought it was more important to see the
graphs than the legend.

Problem after adding images to MS Word

Hello!

Wht I ussually do is to go into Graph, make the axes and functions as I want to,
chose "copy image" and then pasting it into Word. Works great, the image is
adjusted without the axes getting obscure.

However, in Graph 4.1 when I double click on a Graph object from inside Word,
change something, and then go back to Word the image is as big as it is in
Graph when the windows is maximized. What I then do is chose copy image, paste
it into word and delete the old one which is much slower than just closing
Graph. As far as I know that wasn't a problem for me before (Graph v.4, don't
know about 4.0.1)

Help?

Other than that; Great program!

I think the problem is that when you edit a Graph object in Word, Graph
is opened with the same size as if Graph was started normally. But there
is nothing changed in that between version 4.0 and 4.1.

But I think I have found a solution to the problem. I have updated the
beta version of Graph 4.2:
http://padowan.dk/graph/SetupGraphBeta.exe

It would be great if you will test it and tell me if it solves the problem.

can't open saved files in Linux

Hello.
I'm having problem opening saved files in Linux.
I use wine and the latest 4.1 version.
When trying to open a file it says the file is of an old format and can't be
openend.
Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Regards,
Gunnar

It sounds like you tried to open a file saved by an old version of Graph
no longer supported. Is that true, or are the files saved by Graph 4.1?

If the files were saved by Graph 4.1 I need you to send one of the files
to me so I can see what is wrong with them.

Bug in Graph 4.2 beta

Hi!

In short:

If I add a moving average trendline to a graph, it shows up just fine. However,
when I

a) save the file, restart the program and load the file
b) edit some settings of the trendline by right-clicking it in the list to the
left and choosing "edit"

the trendline dissapears never to be seen again. The legend as well as the entry
in the left-side list are still there. However, the actual graph is not visible
and I can't get it visible by any other means than redoing the moving average
trendline from scratch.

I'm currently in the middle of my thesis project and I want to use Graph to
cover all my 2D graphing needs. However, without a way to properly label the
moving averages without them disapearing, I'm stuck as far as Graph goes. So if
anyone has any ideas of a workaround for this problems (if a bugfix can't be
made available soon), please post away :)

I'm using Version 4.2 Build beta290 on win XP pro if that helps any.

Other than that, I love this program for it's simplicity when making graphs.

Oh yeah, a small(?) feature request would be the possibility to import several
point series from different files in one call. Would be a huge timesaver since I
probably have closer to a hundred files to import.

You are right. Thank you for bringing this problem to my attention. I
have fixed the problem and uploaded a new beta version:
http://padowan.dk/graph/SetupGraphBeta.exe

You want to import hundred files into one coordinate system? In the new
beta version you can now select several files to import at once in the
Import point series dialog.
