 Dear colleagues,

I would like to remind you the information which appeared
in the NA-digest and which I gave also
at the CSC'05 conference in Toulouse. 

Prof. Fiedler, who is one of those who did a lot of classical
work in combinatorial scientific computing, will celebrate
80 next year. There will be a special issue of LAA devoted to 
celebrate this occasion. I would appreciate if our community 
would strongly contribute to this issue. The deadline (January, 31st,
