It might not be a bad idea to make a release every 6 months, even if it's just a minor patch release. (Hell, a patch that just increments the version number would be better than nothing ;) Doing so would let other people know that it isn't a dead project. My evaluation for software usually involves looking over release history and inferring from that whether or not a project is dead. It's something I need to apply to some of my own projects... Wil
