Heya!
Just wondering if you have any updates for us? I've merely got a passing
interest, nothing hard and fast at the moment. Curiosity has bitten me,
though - so much so I went to the URL in your sig block thinking you may
have something there but the domain name fails to resolve for me :(

Cheers!

Pete.

P.S. If this comes through as a double post, my apologies. I forgot to
set the correct From: address, and subsequently my original message is
pending approval. There's always the chance that approval will happen
before I get this duplicate out, or that the original wrong mail won't
ever get approved ;)

SDL 1.3 and SDL_mixer/SDL_ttf dependencies

this might be a silly question, but if I upgrade my main project to
SDL 1.3, will the SDL_mixer and SDL_TTF frameworks/libraries still
work, or will these need a 1.3 version as well ?

They should still work. Grab the subversion code for SDL_mixer, I
think there's a minor compile fix for 1.3 in there that's backwards
compatible with SDL 1.2.

See ya!

Hi there! Yes, my blog is dead; my friend's web hosting plan expired
just the other day.

I just moved up to school for the semester, so things have been kinda
hectic, but things are finally starting to settle down and I'll have
some interesting updates soon. =)

As far as the current status goes, video driver is partially working,
pending some more work on the sprite-sized texture handling. Once that
work is done, I've been being very careful to organize my new driver
code such that adding support for using both screens should be trivial
when the time comes.

multi video output

Hello,
i'm new to SDL.
I have bttv card and i'm trying to create simple security program..
I need to display 4 video streams in one SDL window.
SDL_DisplayYUVOverlay blits whole screen with one stream.
How i can manage YUVOverlays and set positions to them?

Truly yours, nol1ght.

SDL_ttf patch

Hi,

attached is a patch that implements variable sized glyph cache sizes
for SDL_ttf. As noted under [1] the 'small' cache size is not very
useable for cyrillic chars.

But a little warning, I've not yet tested it very well.

Re: SDL_ttf patch

Cool!
Though many entries in your patch is white space changes (indentation).
I makes it hard to see the actual modifications, so I'd suggest you supply separate patches for the
"variable sized glyph cache sizes" and the formatting.

Re: SDL_ttf patch

Ok, i seperated the code patch - and fixed some errors with using the
wrong size variable.

Video overlay problem

I'm trying to display a RGB sdl surface on a ovelay, I've copied the functions on sdloverlay2 example but it always shows a green/pink colored screen. The B/W woks well but on color mode it always shows the wrong colors, I've tried yv12 and others. There's something that must be set on the surface or the overlay before convert the colors? I'm using windows and the overlay example works well.

[SDL_mixer] Looping of OGG Vorbis music file creates static ???

[SDL_mixer] Looping of OGG Vorbis music file creates static ???

Hi,

Just noticed this in PacDude 100%:

When using SDL_mixer and playing
OGG music file and set looping to infinite,
on looping of music file, there is static in playback thoughout entire song.

Tried this with 5 different files and same result.

Just wondering if anyone else has this and what to do to fix it.

Thanks...
