Question about libchipcard4 + HBCI + ReinerSCT - Unerwarteter Fehler -103

Hi.
I've got a ReinerSCT Pinpad Card Reader and a HBCI Card from "Sparkasse" -
don't know the actual type - maybe someone can help me to find this out.
Using libchipcard3 reader and card worked fine.

Switched to libchipcard4 and it does not work anymore - at setup the manager
tells me that it waits for a card to be inserted and than it cancels after a
timeout with:

Unerwarteter Fehler (-103)

What the app want to tell me? Whats error -103?
thx for help and hints how to get the card working again - can't believe that
v4 won't support my card/reader if v3 did.

PS: Using Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex - 8.10 and the latest stable versions shipped.
