libchipcard3 mit ccid Treibern auf amd64

Hallo

3:2007/10/03 17-42-52:chipcard3-client(29020):ddvcard.c:  108: Not a processor card (MEMORY)
3:2007/10/03 17-42-52:(null)(29020):hbci.c:  608: Token is not supported by any plugin
3:2007/10/03 17-42-52:(null)(29020): addmedium.c:  136: Medium not supported

Timo Fischer

memcard failure libchipcard v3

Hi,

i tested the following conditions:

Debian stable with kernel 2.6.18

libchipcard3-3.0.3.tar.gz
gwenhywfar-2.6.1.tar.gz
pcsc-lite-1.4.4.tar.gz

I compiled the libchipcard library successfully,
and managed the SCM SCR335 to work.

I testet the following three cards:

SCard Geldkarte -> works
Can read the amount of money stored on it
(it has 8pins)

kvcard -> not working
(it has 6pins)
Logfiles say that powering up failes.....

memory card (2048b) 2kBit -> not working
(it has 6pins)
Logfiles say that powering up failes......

Same program tools in the chipcard library
i used.
Only the program for Scard Geldkarte test
is working.

I really need the memory access with these tools.

Anybody can give a hint?

Please report to me if you need some enhanced
logfiles.

Thanks in advance.

Sven

If you're using Debian you can use my packages, available from Alioth.
Simply insert following line into /etc/apt/sources.list, run "aptitude
update" and "aptitude install libchipcard3-tools".

deb http://aqbanking.alioth.debian.org/debian/ etch/

What commands did you run, and what output did they generate?

Hi Micha,

this is the output of the mount cmd.
But i dont know if it is the problem,
because i think my SC335 is not accessed
by the tty-usb device entry..

Or am i wrong ?

Re: memcard failure libchipcard v3

Hi Micha,

i tested the following card:

http://www.business.conrad.de/goto/?artikel=967815
http://www.produktinfo.conrad.com/datenblaetter/950000-974999/967815-da-02-en-Chipkarte_I2C_2_KBIT.pdf

It is a normal i2c bus card without security code....
I attached all the logfiles and tried to give them simple name.
I tested the memory card with windows and it is really working.
The firmware version on the SCM335 device is the last firmware v5.22

For all test i started the chipcardd3 daemon with the following param:

./chipcardd3 --pidfile /var/run/chipcardd3.pid -f --loglevel debug --logtype
console

*********
1. server_startup.txt is the file with startup and stop.
no card inserted

*********
2. (tools-> geldkarte3 test)
geldkarte inserted

client program geldkarte3

server_geldkarte.txt is the logfile with reading the geldkarte
client_geldkarte.txt is the client logfile.

Finally: this works ;-)

*********
3. (tools-> memcard3 test)
geldkarte inserted (i know it is wrong.....!)

memcard3 answered, wrong card inserted

removed geldkarte, inserted memcard

client program never come up from the loop
"waiting for card" as you can see from
the logfiles.

server_geldkarte_memcard.txt and
client_geldkarte_memcard.txt are the logfiles
for this test.

So, i really need to have access to the memory card.
The goal is to have a working libchipcard and
a simple usb card reader;
I want to build a device working with openwrt on asus wl-device
with usb support.
So i want to compile it by hand and i cannot use your
ready compiled binarys for debian.

So long,

thanks for your time and answer.

Hello Sven,

please do *always* reply to the list, not to single developers. I
forward your mail to the mailinglist (see below). I hope that's okay...

As far as I see in server_geldkarte_memcard.txt (see attachments) you
have a problem accessing a certain proc file. Do you have the /proc
filesystem mounted?

Reliable PCMCIA card reader?

Hi,

I’m getting more and more fed up with my CM4000 card reader. Without
obvious reason it sometimes just does not work, with chipcardd reporting
unknown reader errors. Only wild restarting of chipcardd, ejecting with
pccardctl and reloading the cm4000_cs driver can get it to work − if at
all.

Do you know of a PCMCIA card reader that works reliably with chipcardd?

Thanks,
Joachim

Well, if I remember it correctly the problem was that the driver always blocks
when asked for the presence of a card in case there is no card (it then seems
to just wait until a card is available). I didn't investigate it further, but
maybe it is interesting to do so...

Unfortunately, this is the only PCMCIA reader I know. I have a GemPC Card,
though, but I don't think it worked under Linux...

I had a few glances at the code, but couldn’t find my way around.

I guess the CM4040 will have the same problems, considering it’s the
same driver family. I’m surprised that not more people use PCMCIA for
their smartcard reader, it’s so handy when you use a laptop.

SCM SCR3311

Moin,
