ArgoUML and Java5

The upcoming 0.34 release is planned to no longer support Java5. Please read the news item and let us know what you think about it.

Translator localization broken?

I'm currently running 0.32.1 and noticed that when I created a sequence diagram, when I click on the Properties tab for the new "unattachedCollaboration" I see a number of labels with default text bound to them.  For example, "label.representedclassifier", and "label.representedoperation".  I don't know if the properties are missing, or if the Translator itself is having problems.

Has anyone else seen this?

Regards,

Mark

Re: Translator localization broken?

Hi Mark,

yesterday I was wondering why "static" is now "ownerScope" in the property panels (e.g. Attribute). So,
yes I just realized something very recently. Is there an issue record for that already?

Re: Translator localization broken?

Hi Thomas,

I haven;t filed an issue yet because I don't know if this is a Translator problem or a missing properties problem.  So I wasn't sure how to classify it.

Re: Translator localization broken?

If there is a defect just log it. It can always be reclassified later.

Sequence vs Sequence2

I was working on a Sequence diagram recently and noticed a number of problems with it.  There seem to be a number of outstanding issues in Bugzilla for it.  I also noticed that we have a Sequence2 implementation, and I was wondering which diagram type should I be using?  What are the plans for transitioning to the new Sequence diagram?

Mark

question

Hi, i want to say thank you for a great job you've done on your software. I'am a software archive owner and I'am writing a review on your program now.
Is it possible for you to place an award button on your website linking to this review?

Hope to hear a reply from you.

Re: Sequence vs Sequence2

Hi Mark

This is more relevant to the dev list than users I think.

Re: question

We would have to have more detail about the organisation being linked to.

If it is a well recognised organisation then I should think we are
likely to do so.

Please send further details to the developer list rather than users list.

Regards

Bob
