squeak-dev 95-2: OB browsing inheritance bug?

In OB, select the class side then "browse hierarchy"...

I get MessageNotUnderstood: OBMetaclassNode>>isDescendantOfMethodCat:

Re: Plopp, The Cool 3D Painting Tool for download

Ah, thanks Jens,

i have no sound problem, but seems to be something with openGL (seeing
the attached stack dump).

Any cure ?

3.10 list of fixes

Hello,

I just found after some (long) browsing the list of fixes candidates for
3.10 at http://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/5934

I could put some requests, but:
- i do not remember wiki account and password (and tonight, I am fed up
browsing)
- my proposals maybe are on already accepted or rejected list

So, my question is where can i find those lists:
- the list of Mantis fixes already accepted
- the list of Mantis issues not ready to be included

Bye

Nicolas

there could be the following problems:

1) you don't have hardeware accellerated opengl
 - test it with glxgears and glxinfo

2) you have a very new xorg, like the latest ubuntu, withs x composite
turned on
- uses the latest squeak vm or the one I provided, it has the fixes...

What's over the horizon?

What's over the horizon?

What happens when 3dot10 is done doing whatever it is
they decide they can do?

This is mostly a question for the board.

I am also curious how we (as contributors and as
benefiters) decide what we will be doing one, two and
five years down the line. (Can't afford the power my
crystal ball would require to think any further than
five years out.)

Yours in curiosity and service, --Jerome Peace

New VM. New image.
Fixed compiled method format.
Proper source accessors.
Decent change recording.
Immutable objects.
Little-endian bitmaps instead of 'nobody uses big endian anymore'
current format. Probably same for Floats.
Get rid of MVC. Replace morphic with something actually
a) designed
b) documented
c) using hardware on most platforms to do fonts and most drawing with
vectors instead of pixmaps.
Replace current tragically poor browser code with properly written
classes.
Thousands upon thousands of tests, with comments and explanations.

Give me ten million euros.

Re: 3.10 list of fixes

The login is "squeak" and the password is "viewpoint" or maybe
"viewpoints". My browser remembers so I haven't had to look it up for
awhile.

If a Mantis fix has been accepted or if we decided that it needed more
work then the issue will already say so. Just read the issue.
Basically, the list at http://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/5934 is a list of
things for us to look at. We need more people adding to it!
