strange behavior in the layout with WrapDirection attribute

I have found the following example to not work as expected.
The problem seems to come from the wrapDirection.

In this exemple if you resize the morph, the layout is refresh correctly.

I badly need it to work as expected

submorph := Morph new color: Color red;
	layoutPolicy: TableLayout new;
	listDirection: #leftToRight;
	cellInset: 10;
	vResizing: #shrinkWrap;
	hResizing: #spaceFill;
	wrapDirection: #topToBottom.
10 timesRepeat: [submorph addMorph: Morph new].
(Morph new color: Color yellow; extent: 300 <at> 500;
	layoutPolicy: TableLayout new;
	listDirection: #topToBottom;
	layoutInset: 10; cellInset: 10;
	addMorphBack: submorph;
	addMorphBack: (Morph new color: Color orange;
		vResizing: #spaceFill;
		hResizing: #spaceFill)) openInWorld

[OT] Smalltalk Weekend in London - Friday 20th, Saturday 21st October - JPMorgan offices

Hi,

We are organizing a combined Smalltalk meeting on Friday and CampSmalltalk
on Saturday.

Andy Bower will be presenting his Alchemetrics Trading Workbench on Friday.
Bryce will be demoing Exupery on Saturday.

    http://www.xpdeveloper.net/xpdwiki/Wiki.jsp?page=SmalltalkUK20061020
    http://www.xpdeveloper.net/xpdwiki/Wiki.jsp?page=SmalltalkUK20061021

As it will be held in JPMorgan offices, we need to know the name and company
of all the people coming. This is mainly for security reasons [1].

Please, help spread the word.

Cheers,
Francisco

Squeak Foundation Tasks and some important clarifications

Hi guys

The email was originally targeted to the people that expressed their
will to participate to the squeakFoundation ie:
brad <at> sonaural.com, christophe.tricot <at> univ-savoie.fr,
klaus.witzel <at> cobss.ch, krivanek <at> comtalk.net
and I hesitated to send this mail to everybody, but I feel that it is
important after discussing with daniel.

I want to let you know that our objectives is not to get all the
power. We did the foundation because
we wanted to provide a better organization to Squeak development. In
particular we want to put in place an organization
that structures Squeak growth. Our goal at the end is to be able to
redraw from the core organization and that the development and
process continues. At the end of the day we like compilers and MOPs
and hacking in Squeak.

***Our goal is that if YOU want to participate you can and have fun
and satisfaction doing it.***

But we wanted to protect our times from "customers having too much
needs and not enough help to offer". Daniel is thinking that we
concentrate all the powers (I would say too much responsibilities)
and I propose him to propose a way to let people participate in the
organization (see the task list below).

This is a long mail (I do not like them but this one is important so
please read it).

Re: [VM][OSPP] bug alert: OSProcess breaks with recent SVN source tree

OK, getThisSessionID is now in VMMaker. It requires a change in the
sqVirtualMachine.[ch] files which makes them break with older code so I'll hold
off for a short while before commiting them.

To benefit from the change, platformPeepul will need to make small alterations
to any platform plugin code( so far file plugin & socket plugin are likely
suspects) that uses the idea of a session id.

List reactivated?

>From the response I got to my "test" message, I assume that the list was
sorta dead for a while. Anyone have any major news to report? I've been out
of touch for quite some time and the websites seem to be a bit out-of-date.

For some reason I haven’t gotten a single message from this list. Hello to anyone who read this.

Marcus Denker in charge of Harvesting

Hi all, I've realized lately that I'm "in charge" of too many areas
related to maintaining Squeak, and I've spread myself a bit too thin.

Currently, I'm more or less in charge of three areas:

1. Harvesting
2. Managing the Update Stream
3. Managing Squeak Releases

By "Harvesting" here I mean everything in the process of collecting
fixes/enhancements from the community up to and including approval, but
not including actual incorporation into the update stream.

I discussed this with Marcus, and he agreed that he could take over as
the Guide in charge of "Harvesting". I would still be in charge of the
Update Stream and managing releases of Squeak. Marcus has already been
doing a lot of work related to harvesting anyway, so this makes sense.
Of course other people are involved too such as Stephane, the BFAV
guys, the rest of the Guides, etc., but Marcus is now "in charge" of
this. This includes, for example, figuring out how to hire more
harvesters, other ways to improve the process, etc.

Hopefully this will be a better splitting of responsibilities, and I'll
be able to spend more time on improving the update stream side of
things so that I can incorporate updates more frequently.

I will update the Guide Roles page on the SqF swiki to reflect this.
(Actually, the Guide Roles & Volunteer Roles pages could use an
overhaul and could probably be combined...)

I should mention that there's a fourth item which is still separate:

4. Deciding the major content of each release; e.g. the items on the
"3.7alpha to-do" swiki page

No one person is taking over this... this is managed by all of the
Guides & the community. (Well, mostly led by Goran and myself.)

That's all for now,

- Doug

Re: Cash in on other people's success

Hi Cees. Any chance you could reconfigure the SqF list so that only
subscribers can post, so that we don't get any more of these spam
posts? (I assume that is the problem, or are these spammers somehow
actually subscribing before they post?)

This list has been quiet for a while, but I think it's still viable.
(there are some topics I'd like to post on when I have time...)
