Remove old AAR repos?

Is it time for this resource and it's SVN repos to die?

Just wanted to double check before killing it off.

[DOCS] A user's field guide to 0.9

We put together a simple little field guide that should get those
interested up and running on Ruport 0.9

It includes some content from the Ruport documentation effort, and a
few examples (some from this list).

It also includes instructions on how to get everything installed, and
a short list of important changes from 0.8 to 0.9

You can grab the PDF here:

Warm Regards,
-greg

Whoops, I'm not sure how that happened. I think that's what I get for
using svk so much. I forget that the svn command doesn't do the same
thing :)

New Committer, and promotions!

Mike Milner now has joined our ragtag group of committers.

Also, random promotions of Dudley, Dinko, and jh have been added.
Dinko has been running the Ruport News for a while now which has
helped us remember the important changes in Ruport over time, and jh
has been instrumental in helping develop a formatting system that
sucks less than our original one.

I especially am excited that Dudley is now officially the sea captain
of Ruport, lest we need to go fight pirates.

Very cool. Just so people know when I offer prizes, they're often
directly or indirectly funded by BTree Technology, so you shouldn't
feel bad for accepting them :)

[ANN] New Scheme : Contributor of the Month program

Hi folks,

As yet another ploy to exploi... err... involve the community, I'm
starting a contributor of the month program.

The way this will work is that anyone interested in participating will
be given a unique Trac login which we'll use to pay attention to your
contributions over time. Contributions could be bug reports, wiki
cleanup, tutorials, blog posts, code, ideas, whatever.

At the end of each month, I'll consult with the other Ruport
developers and pick us a contributor of the month that will get some
sort of modest prize. (Likely to be gift certificates or books or
other things).

I'd just like to do this to show appreciation for the many folks who
support this project, as well as hopefully generate some new interest
in the project and get some fresh ideas into the mix.

So long as there is interest, I'll probably run this until 1.0. If
you're interested, just reply to this message on or off list and I'll
send you a Trac id. This will not include SVN access, but will allow
us to give you credit for tickets and things like that.

As always, anonymous bug reports and trac additions are still welcome
via the ruport / blinky account but can't be used towards this
program.

[ATTN] This list has moved!

Hi Folks,

Just to let you know we are now over at:
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/ruby-reports

This list will stay open for a while, but mostly for the archive, and
not for active conversation.
So please join us over at google. I am pretty sure you can use your
regular email address so long as you also have a google account.

Warm Regards,
-greg

[ANN] Ruport 0.7.1 : CSV Bugfix

Hi folks, a new version of Ruport is out which fixes a memory
consumption issue[0] in CSV output.

If you use CSV output from Ruport, and are using 0.7.0, you definitely
want to upgrade.

**NOTE**

Our old mailing list will be deprecated as of 2007.01.20, so please
move on over to the new one[1]

Warm Regards
