That is due to a bug that was fixed last month. Since I have not yet 
made a public release, you need to use the latest version from CVS that 
you can download from here:

Error - Cannot use object of type read_arguments_class as array


Hi,

I just downloaded metastorage, and all of its requirements.  I am sure
that I have installed it all correctly.  However, when I try to
compile the test project 'cms', I get the following error:

Fatal error:  
Cannot use object of type read_arguments_class as array in
~dir~\metal\metastorage\applications\metastorage\metastorage.php
on line 352

What am I doing wrong??

I am trying to run it on:
XP Pro SP2
IIS 5.1
PHP 5.02

Do I have to change a setting??

	i had similar conceptual problems in the begining, so i started from scratch by
trying to understand metastorage philosophy and unsing metabase too.

	i'll send you an example i made of the usage of createarticleform.php
	i hope it helps.

installation


Hallo, 

i just found this project from search engine. i try to install in
WIndows XP. Directory structure like this:
meta\
meta\metaL\*
meta\metastorage\*.*

is this wrong? because after i klik (Indonesian language :D) welcome
page, the link got error. page not found.

I really need this metaL for my project (in my dream :D). 
aniway, i did not find the definition of "meta" in Indonesian
Language. So please, be kind to explain that mean to me :D).

Did you follow these instructions?

After you do this you should have a directory structure like this:

DRIVE:\path\to\metal\metal
DRIVE:\path\to\metal\metastorage
DRIVE:\path\to\metal\xmlparser
DRIVE:\path\to\metal\metabase
DRIVE:\path\to\metal\readarguments
DRIVE:\path\to\metal\forms

Also make sure you grant permissions to your Web server user to serve 
PHP script pages from here

DRIVE:\path\to\metal\metastorage\applications\webstorage\web\

Metastorage based forums system


Hello,

This is just a note regarding the new forums system that has a data 
storage access that was completely developed using Metastorage.

You may look here for the main support forums page that lists the latest 
class support forum threads.

Each of the classes published in the site has its own forum that is 
actually created only when the first post in that forum is made, thus 
saving a lot of database space. The page of the forum for each class may 
be found using a link in the respective class page that says "Support 
forum".

Despite I will continue to develop further its capabilities, personally 
I am very happy with it, not only because the use of Metastorage 
significantly reduced its development time, but also because it provided 
me the opportunity to develop new Metastorage capabilities that have 
been requested by other developers.

This means that soon everybody will be able to benefit from the new 
capabilities. It is a matter of making time to document. Meanwhile let 
me just highlight the most important.
