About installation on windows

Hello,
I have a problem of understanding with the procedure described in the install.win32 file.
1) What does it mean " step 3: do a make "   ?   makefile is for Linux, not for Windows !
2) The .erlang file doesn't exist in Erlang !    where shall I create it ?
3) About the erlang cookie: where supposes distel the location of the cookie ?
4) Erlang stores the .beam files in .../usr/src/project/ebin
    Distel seems to retrieve these in ... distel/ebin 

(distel version 4.03)

Distel on windows

Hello,
Many problems for using Distel on windows ...
1) in install.win32 file, what does it means ?: Step 3: Do a "make".
2) my erl source files are in "C:/Program Files/erl5.8/usr/src", my beam files also: where Distel is looking for the .beam files ?
 
If you could solve these points, I could progress and not ask stupid questions.
