KTorrent on windows

Hi,

The ktorrent package in the kde windows installer is old and not even
an official release, just a SVN snapshot. It also isn't included in
all KDE releases. How do I get it updated to the latest release
(3.1.4) ?

Sorry to be a pain, but following up on it, this config.txt still the broken
one:

http://winkde.org/pub/kde/ports/win32/repository/config/config.txt

Also, I goofed in my copy/pasting for the sourceforge links. Direct links that
avoid the redirector are of the format I listed for TortoiseSVN, thru
ftp.heanet, e.g.
http://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/sourceforge/t/to/tortoisesvn/TortoiseSVN-1.5.5.14361-win32-svn-1.5.4.msi

My bad, sorry. The general format is: 
"<http | ftp>://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/sourceforge/≤first letter>/<first two
letters>/<projectname>/<filename>"

Anything //<sitename>.dl.sourceforge.net/ possibly gets redirected, as they
have the same logic as prdownloads.sourceforge.net underlying them. Kudos to
heanet for not only exposing the tree, but also having a non-flaky server for
both protocols to source them.

Amarok 1.9.4: No collection plugins error

Hi,

I try to run Amarok 1.9.4 on Vista. When I start it I get a "cannot find 
any collection plugins" error message. I've tried to run "kbuildsycoca4 
--noincremental" but this does not solve the problem.

My KDE version is 4.1.3 (latest stable version) installed with the 
latest GUI installer. I've added the KDEDIRS env var and the bin and lib 
folder to the "path" var as suggested there :

and I have also installed the Visual C++ runtime.

QT applications run well. I can start kwrite only once and it takes a 
lot of time to launch (I must kill kded4 and klauncher) to be able to 
run kwrite again.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Okular does not seem to release memory?

Hi,

I've just updated to 4.1.2 (msvc build). And after opening and
scrolling down through a PDF file, okular's memory usage will grow
almost linearly, and never seem to release.

Is it a known bug?

And it also doesn't look like a kde-windows bug to me either.

Please put this bug into the bugtracker http://bugs.kde.org . As we 
package all libraries that are used for pdf viewing, this might be our 
bug too so please file this bug for now.
