Hi Josep,

Tellico 2.3.2 adjusted the HTML output so that links with long anchor texts
should be truncated in the middle, to a maximum length of 30 characters.
(That's done in the tellico-common.xsl file if anyone needs to change it)

When I read your email, my first thought was that I accidently switched the
anchor link with the anchor text. In other words, I truncated the URL
instead of the text of the link. But I checked the XSL file and that is not
the case.

I've been unable to reproduce the problem you're having. I have a few more
questions that I hope you can answer so I can figure it out. Are you just
using the File->Export to HTML command to generate the HTML file? How are you
getting the http links in there ? The reason I ask is because the default
way of linking to the is inside a folder with a _files extension. And from

How to get library content online?

Dear tellico community,
We are a little noncommercial library and use tellico. We have a joomla-based website and try to get the
library content online, to give people the option to see what books we have. Does tellico offer an
application for joomla to read its content to put it online? Or do have an idea how to do that?
Best wishes from Stuttgart, Germany

Hi Peter,

Tellico doesn't have any real framework for integrating with any CMS
(joomla, drupal, etc.). The data file is a zipped XML file, so in theory, some
XSLT or XML import could be used, but there's nothing I can offer that would
do the job for you right now. It would have to be written from scratch.

Sorry!

Hello, Robby:

I've changed 30 to 60 length and nothing happens in html export files.

I'll try to answer your questions:

> Are you just using the File->Export to HTML command to generate the HTML
file?

Yes, and I check (1)"format all fields" and (2)"export only selected entries",
and in html options (1)"print fields rows"

> How are you getting the http links in there ?

I write directly into the field created in the database.

I have a database about films (more tan thousand) and when I did a post in my
blog about a film, I write the url published. After that, I used to filter
entries corresponding and export to html file, as you can see in the index of
my blog.

Hi, Robby:

I just finish understand your question:

Certenly, it looks that blogger publish the posts adding year and month, like
as:

http://elblocdejosep.blogspot.com/2011/04/la-estrella-de-laton.html

And this is i write in to the field, yes.

Sorry.

Thanks.

OK, that helps. I thought Tellico was creating the HTML file for each blog
post, but you're just including the blog link in the Tellico file.

OK, good to know. I might have suggested that something changed in Tellico
that broke your old tellico2html.xsl file, but if the one shipped with
Tellico shows the same problem, then that's not the case.

OK, thanks so much for sending the files to me, Josep.

The issue is, indeed, due an XSL "assumption" made in your tellico2html.xsl
file that changed in the Tellico stylesheets recently. At the end of your
tellico2html.xsl, if you replace

             <xsl:attribute name="href">
              <xsl:call-template name="simple-field-value">
               <xsl:with-param name="entry" select="$entry"/>
               <xsl:with-param name="field" select="'Enllaç-al-Bloc'"/>
              </xsl:call-template>
             </xsl:attribute>

with this instead

             <xsl:attribute name="href">
              <xsl:value-of select="$entry/tc:enllaç-al-bloc"/>
             </xsl:attribute>

 I believe it should work as before. Let me know if that helps.

Hi, Robby:

No, it doesn't work. There is no change.

But I think the problem is more simple:

Comming back using original files there is no difference but if you see the file
exported, it's clear that the problem is the length of the linking field.

The url looks as 15 ...15 caracters.

For exemple:

The original is:
http://elblocdejosep.blogspot.com/2010/10/12.html

And after exporting it's truncated as:

http://elblocde.../2010/10/12.htm

Hmmm, it worked when I tested it against your file. Tellico looks for the
tellico2html.xsl file in a series of paths. You can see the list by running
kde4-config --path data
Each of those paths has "/tellico/" appended to it, and then is searched for
the file. Is it possible there is an old copy of the file that is being used
instead of the one you corrected? You can see which one Tellico uses by
running
kde4-config --locate tellico/tellico2html.xsl --path data
Make sure that's the one you you're editing.

And the tellico2html.xsl file that comes with Tellico won't have this
problem, you could test with that, too.
