Noted, I'll add a workaround for
that.

I
really do need to add that. I think that since it will require some new
text in the UI, I'll wait until after 2.3 so I don't mess up the
translators.

Tellico 2.3 upcoming

Hi Robby

In case it has slipped off the list, I would still be very happy to see
the item shown below added to version 2.3

Many thanks

Jay

I see what you mean. I think that's a consequence of some of the new
Qt4/KDE4 classes that I used. And no, there doesn't appear to be a way
to
toggle back to the HTML source in Tellico as it is rightnow.

I'll see if I can figure out how to toggle between the rich text and
the
html source, and then add a checkbox or something to do that.

Re: Tellico 2.3 upcoming

I was able to get one of the databases imported into ListPro tonight by editing the CSV file in OpenSpreadsheet. There is one thing I noticed... let's say I am exporting an album database. On a PocketPC I only need the Album, Artist and Medium fields, so I delete all of the others and export the database to a CSV file. When I open it in OpenSS, I see that it has also exported the Date Created and Date Modified fields. I don't see a way to turn these off in the program. So that would be great!

Thanks....

Re: Tellico 2.3 upcoming

I'm sorry.. one more thing. When you delete an entry the ID numbers stay the same, so there are gaps in the numbering system. Is there any way to renumber them so that it is sequential?

Re: Tellico 2.3 upcoming

I ended up reverting to the Tellico 1.x behavior, where the underlying
HTML code is always shown in the edit box. And yes, that'll be in Tellico
2.3.

Not right now, unless you edited the file
directly. And I'd have to think about whether I'd want to add that
function to the interface, I always think of record numbers like database
ID values, which never change, even if a row is removed.

Why does that
gap in numbering become important? I'm guessing you use the numbering for
other things and want a continuous system?

Not sure. I'll have to look at that.
