imdb results

I just upgraded to version 1.9 with kde 4.3.

I get no results whenever I do an imdb search. However amazon does work but
not as well as before. Is this s bug or is there a setting I'm missing?

Video and ISBN

we recently started using Telleco to manage our book collection went 
through almost 1000 paperbacks alone in a week. what we would like to do 
next is our video collection. I tried to set up the forms up in the 
video collection form to do a ISBN (since most recent videos have a ISBN 
number). but I could not make it go. not really a programer anymore. (20 
years out of touch).

has anyone done this or have a quick and dirty patch/fix for this?

Here is a simple enhancement request for Tellico...

Circled in red below, please see how GCstar provides a simple button
that allows the defined media file to be played by a media player of
choice...

In the next screenshot, a set of preferences are offered to allow the
user to define what media player will play "collection" files of
specific types:

Tellico seems to be a nice collection manager - - it would be great to
take it one step beyond that, to allow a kiosk to actually play
collection entries being defined by Tellico.

compiling from SVN

Robby et al.

I download the SVN version as I am now running KDE4. I am trying to find
the right combination of commands to compile it.

I am more experienced with ./configure. I started with "cmake
-DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix`" but got a:
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:2 (KDE4_CREATE_HANDBOOK):
  Unknown CMake command "KDE4_CREATE_HANDBOOK".

I've also tried cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$KDEDIR where KDEDIR is
/usr/share/kde4

Any help would be appreciated..

Unable to import CDDB info with latest SVN

Hello,

Migrating from KDE 3.5 on mandriva 2009.0 to KDE 4.2 on mandriva 2009.1,
I'm encountering problems with tellico:

First I must say I rapidly upgraded the version to the SVN version (and
pushed it to cooker as well at the same time, as the native version is
too buggy)

Then with th latest SVN version I have the follwing issues:

1/ I'm unable to import a CD content by reading it, and making a cddb
query. K3B gt's the info correctly, but not tellico for the same CD.

2/ No i18n seems to be available (typically for me no french msgs).

Thanks in advance to tell me if those are known problems or not, and
if/how to fix them.

removing ooo citation support

Hi all,

Just a bit of a heads-up, I'm going to remove the code for inserting 
citations from Tellico into OpenOffice.org. I haven't ported it over to 
cmake yet, from the old automake code. But before I ported to cmake, it 
wouldn't compile with ooo3 anyway.

It's code that I don't really understand well, since much of it is copied 
from some other tutorials. I don't think I've gotten more than one or two 
emails about it in a couple of years. And with Zotero and Bibus both 
supporting the functionality, it's better for Tellico not to pretend. :)
